Jammiyatul Falah Jubail holds JF Expertise Winter Cup 2015

Jubail: The New Year has kicked-off on a sound footing for Jammiyatul Falah Jubail unit with the hosting of the “JF-expertise Winter Cup 2015 cricket tournament” from 1st January 2015. The event is a part of Jammiyatul Falah’s yearly activity to support and promote a noble programme ‘Education is key to success”.

A total of 24 teams from Jubail are participating in this knockout tournament which are being held in the flood lit Al Fallah cricket stadium in Jubail.

Being a key sponsor to the event, M/s Expertise Contracting Company endorsed its unparalleled support to the JF’s initiative of promoting education and awareness through active social interaction. Br. Sheikh Abba, CEO of Expertise inaugurated the event in presence of the other co-sponsors and well-wishers. The inauguration program was facilitated by event chairman Br. Mohammed Farooq along with other event coordinators Br Hanif Shirva and Br. Ibba.

It is worth mentioning that the participants and committee members especially children, defied the odds of a cold climate and joined hands with the Jammiyatu Fallah in this noble gesture.

Highlight of the first week

Overall 5 matches were played with 3 in the first round matches and 2 quarter final matches. The inaugural match was played between United Tech and Chemanol with Man of the match Mr. Rafiq guiding his team United Tech to a wonderful victory. The teams Eagle Light and NGC were the remaining winners in the first round.

United Tech & Eastern Blue emerged as winners in their respective Quarter Final matches.

Highlight of the 2nd Week

The second week also hosted 5 matches with 3 in the first round matches and 2 quarter final matches. In the first round matches, SASP defeated Coastaldigest with a superb innings from Man of the Match, Mr. Zeeshan; Amaco won against IMS with a huge margin thanks to Man of the Match Mr. Afan’s superb innings and in the 3rd match IK holding lost to AMC, with match Man of the Match Mr. Sohaib taking 4 wickets.

In the 1st Quarter final matches Al Falah won the match defeating SASP by just 4 runs. In the 2nd quarter final match AMC won against Al Muzain by 11 runs.

The finals and the concluding ceremony would be conducted on DAY, Date January 2015. The prizes for all the “Man of the Match” and other awards declared during the tournament would be distributed on the closing day of the ceremony.

Jamiyaatul Falah Jubail unit believes that effective communication and social interaction are important to spread the message of education and therefore, humbly invites all community enthusiasts in the Kingdom to visit the grounds to support the teams and make this event and its mission a grand success.

Dubai: In response to UAE health authorities encourage blood donation campaign Anivasai Kannadigara Okkuta - U.A.E, conducted blood donation camps on April 22 at Abu Dhabi Blood Bank Khaldiya and on 23/04/2020 at Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, Sharjah.

The Abu Dhabi camp was inaugurated by Head of Department of Abu Dhabi Blood Bank, On this occasion she gave brief inputs of the benefits and features of blood donation, urged the participants to spread greater awareness about the importance of blood donation and congratulated the AKO members for their selfless social service and wished all the best for their future endeavours.

Abdul Rasheed, President of AKO presided over the function and Anivasai Kannadigara Okkuta Vice President Mr. Mohammad Nasir appreciated the effort for organizing this camp and gathering youths to be a part of this noble cause as life is precious on this earth. "Each drop of blood counts much, so kindly take it as personal compassion to help unknown who requires blood with no relatives to help him/her.

In Abu Dhabi 41 and in Sharjah 49 donors participated in this event and donated their blood. It was nice to see cheerful smiling donors doing a great community work.
Blood bank staff and AKO Organizing team enthusiastically arranged the campaign which was witnessed by many members and leaders of various community organization of Karnataka.

Anivasai Kannadigara Okkuta President briefed the participates about the ongoing social work of AKO in this current COVID-19 pandemic grim situation AKO is working on following fields: AKO Members have stepped up to support needy community during the Covid-19 pandemic have gone out of their way to comfort those struggling to deal with the challenging situation.

While thousands of people continue to #StayHome, many are in quarantine, there are those on visit visa and stuck here, others have lost jobs or face salary cuts. AKO in coordination with UAE Embassy and other social organization have been able to ensure basic necessities are fulfilled with food provisions and medical assistance to needy.

Providing counselling to bachelors and families those are on quarantine and isolation.

The organizers thanked everybody especially, UAE Health Authority, Abu Dhabi Blood Bank Khaldiya and Blood Transfusion and Research Centre, Sharjah, Management and staff as well as donors for their time and support for the good cause.

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
