Bengaluru, May 30: The JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka, which is facing uncertainty due to dissidence and drubbing received in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections, had decided not to effect a cabinet expansion for now.
After a high level meeting attended by the two party leaders including Congress party in-charge for Karnataka K C Venugopal and government Coordination committee chairperson Siddaramaiah, it was decided not to effect any expansion or rejig of the state cabinet at this juncture.
This comes in the wake of the coalition partners working overtime to bring down the dissidence and the ministers, who attended the meeting on Thursday, expressed reservation over dropping of any ministers from the cabinet.
