Mumbai, Jun 13: This has got to be the mother of all team-ups on television. Kapil Sharma's former teammates -creative director Preeti Simoes, her sister Neeti and co-actors Ali Asgar -have now joined hands with his arch rival Krushna Abhishek for a new comedy show, which will soon be launched on the same channel that airs The Kapil Sharma Show.krushna

We have learnt that Kapil's former colleagues, along with Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale, have already joined team Krushna. If all goes well, Sunil Grover might also come on board. Kapil's team had split after the comedian allegedly assaulted co-actor Sunil on a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai. He is also said to have abused Ali and Chandan Prabhakar.

Though Krushna confirmed the development, he refused to divulge more details. Meanwhile, a source associated with the project elaborates, "Tentatively titled Comedy Company , it will revolve around a family that intends to pursue theater. Like Kapil, Krushna will also invite celebrities and converse with them during the course of the show."

Apparently , Kapil's ongoing show will go off air, eventually.

After replacing Comedy Nights With Kapil, this is the second `coup' pulled off by Krushna against his competitor, with ample help from his former colleagues, of course. As they say , an enemy's enemy is always a friend.
