Karnataka 2nd PUC supplementary result 2017 announced

New Delhi, Jul 25: The Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE), Karnataka has declared the results of the IInd PUC (Second Year Pre-University Course) on its official website karresults.nic.inn. The Pre-University Course sets the base for a student for Higher Education and is equivalent to Class 12 in the state of Karnataka.sslc

The Pre-University Examination Board, Karnataka had conducted the annual exams in March 2017 and the results for the same were declared on May 11, 2017 on the official website. Students who could not pass the Karnataka Second PUC exams in March 2017 and had re-appeared for the 2nd PUC Supplementary Exams in June and July 2017 can check the results by following the instructions below:

How to Check Karnataka 2nd PUC Supplementary Exam 2017 Results?

Step 1: Visit the official website karresults.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the url ‘PUC IInd Supplementary Results’

Step 3: Enter your Registration Number

Step 4: Click on Submit

Step 5: Download and Take a Print out for future reference

The Pre-University Examination Board comes under the purview of Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE), Karnataka and conducts the PUC exams every year for facilitating higher secondary education in the state of Karnataka. It is reported that approximately 6.79 Lakh students had appeared for IInd PUC exam this year in March 2017 out of which only 52.38% candidates passed the exams. This was reported as the lowest overall pass percentage since 2012.

Students had also applied for Re-valuation and Re-totaling of their 2nd PUC March 2017 exams and the students who were still declared failed in certain subjects had the second chance to appear in the PUC II supply exams. Thousands of candidates had appeared for the PUC II supplementary exams and the results are eagerly awaited to pursue their education further.

Bantwal, Apr 29: Two people were injured after the truck laden with poultry feed rammed into the compound wall of after catching fire on Wednesday, at Marnabailu near Melkar.

Police said the injured were the driver and an assistant in the truck. They were admitted to a private hospital at Mangaluru.

However, it is not yet clear whether the truck transporting poultry feed from a company at Kandur caught fire after colliding against the electric pole or with the compound wall.

Mangaluru, Feb 18: Customs at International Airport here have seized Rs 58.95 lakh worth gold in two incidents and arrested two smugglers, Customs Commissionerate said on Monday.

According to the department, two men have been arrested by the customs officials in two separate incidents last evening for attempting to smuggle gold into the country valuing over Rs. 58.95 Lakhs.

In the first incident, Muhammed Swalih Chappathodi, 22, hailing from Malappuram, Kerala who arrived from Dubai by Spice jet flight concealed capsules containing gold in paste form inside his rectum which upon purification resulted in the recovery of 797 gm of 24 karats valued at Rs.32,35,820.

Bengaluru, Jun 17: The Opposition leader in the Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah on Wednesday strongly urged Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to desist from invoking amendment to the Land Reforms Act, saying it would make buying land easier for the corporate companies and the rich.

In a hard-hitting letter to the Chief Minister, a copy of which was released to the media, the Congress leader had urged to rescind the decision from amending to the Karnataka Land Reforms Act and also Agriculture Produces Marketing Committee Act.

Asserting that the state government's move was only intending to help to the land grabbers, Siddaramaiah, also the former chief minister, said easing of restrictions to buy land to the tune of over 216 acres per individual would sound a death knell to the farm sector.
