Bengaluru, Sept 27: Former chief minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah has urged the state government to extend the winter session of the legislature from three to 15to 25 days.
In a letter to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Thursday, the Congress leader said the state government should not break the tradition of holding session in Belagavi, to discuss the problems faced by the people of north Karnataka.
For this purpose only, the Suvarna Soudha was constructed, he added.
