Bengaluru, Jun 28: The Karnataka Legislative Assembly Session will be held from July 12 to 26 at Vidhana Soudha here, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Krishna Byregowda said today.
Briefing newsmen after the Cabinet meeting held here on Friday, he said that several important Bills will be placed during the Session.
This is for the first time the Legislative Session was being held after Lok Sabha election 2019 in which the Coalition partners both Congress and JDS faced severe debacle as they could win only one seat each of the total 28 seats.
While BJP grabbed as many as 25 seats, one seat was won by BJP supported Independent candidate film Actor turned Politician Sumalatha Ambareesh, wife of former Union and State Minister M H Ambareesh.
