KCF is collective power of Sunni organizations: Ummer Sakhafi Edapalam in Qatar

Doha, Feb 17: "KCF happens to be the united power of all the Sunni organizations that are active in Karnataka state," said director of ‘Iswaba’ wing of Karnataka State SYS, Edapalam Ummer Sakhafi.

He was speaking at a programme titled 'Awake - 2019' organized by KCF Qatar National Committee at Doha on the occasion of KCF Day. He said that KCF has been undertaking membership drive in various nations with the slogan, 'march ahead with the organization'. He also provided training on the commitment and values the activists of KCF need to have, by explaining about the aims and objectives, policies, purposes, stand, functioning style, etc of the organization.

He said that since the last six years, KCF has grown into a ray of hope for nonresident Muslim Kannadigas in England, Malaysia and all the GCC countries and added that KCF activists, who work hard, never compromise with the traditional values but work for the progress of the society.

KCF Day Reception Committee president, Abdul Sattar Ashrafi ustad felt that to attract people towards any organization, it is necessary to educate them about the achievements of the organization so far.

Abdurrahim Saadi Ustad, KCF Qatar national committee president, inaugurated the programme. He said that SSF's Hind Safar programme conducted in India has successfully concluded. Chief guests at the programme, Assayyid Sharfuddin Al Hadi Tangal Udyavar, Hafiz Umarul Farooq Sakhafi Emmemadu, Yousuf Sakhafi Ayyangeri, Abdul Muneer Magundi, Muhammed Haneef Patoor, Andumayi Navunda and others were present.

On the occasion, Sabith Muneer, who stood first in English elocution competition held at the GCC level literary festival, was honored.

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter organized a "Live along with COVID-19" webinar on 29 May 2020 in association with HealthCare Polyclinic, Dammam.

The webinar at Zoom App. featured over 150+ resident Kannadigas from Saudi Arabia's eastern and neighboring provinces.

Dr. Shailendranath made a presentation on the program and gave useful information. Indian Social Forum Dammam, Karnataka Chapter President Sharif Joktake delivered the keynote address. General Secretary Irshad Jokatte stalled the program.

Doha: Selvam aged 46 son of Subramanian hailing from Panakulam Village, Alangudi, Pudukkottai District in Tamilnadu province who worked as a technician, died in Qatar on April 24.

Due to challenging situation prevailing in both India & Qatar for body repatriation services, especially in Covid-19 atmosphere, Family is unable to progress further for past 2 months. At his stage Family of the deceased met Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Pudukkottai office bearers and requested to intervene and help out, and also agreed to bury the body in Qatar itself.

Hence, SDPI delegates communicated with well-known Indian Expatriate welfare Organization - Qatar Indian Social Forum (QISF). QISF General Secretary Basheer Ahamed, Secretary Abdullatheef Madikeri and team collected the required documents from the family of the deceased and managed to clear all the necessary formalities from the police department, Health Department, Embassy of India and Hamad Medical Corporation within a short period of time and arranged for a peaceful burial of Mr. Selvam in Dukhan cemetery.
