Mangaluru, Jan 23: Veekshitha Arasa, an officially certified Zumba instructor is all set to present Zumba fitness on the Beach to the people of Mangalore on January 26, 2020. The Zumba event will be hosted at Panambur Beach on Republic Day (Sunday) from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Entry is free to the public and there are no tickets.

Veekshitha Arasa will be accompanied by some of the immensely talented Zumba Instructors from Bangalore who have been passionately spreading love for Zumba through their classes and events. Some amazing instructors from Mangalore too will be joining the event to make it even more happening.

With the sole aim to promote fitness among Mangaloreans these Zumba Instructors will make you groove to peppy, energetic numbers and make your evening sweat-blasting and fantastic.

The main presenter and host of this event Veekshitha hails basically from Mangalore. Having conducted Zumba training in various fitness centers and corporates across Bangalore and being the presenter in several mega events both in India and International Platforms in Hong Kong, Veekshitha always had a dream to have a full-fledged Zumba fitness event in her own city - Mangalore. Bengaluru, Jan 26: BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel has been served with a court notice asking him to personally appear before the special court for people’s representatives on February 24, in connection with a defamation suit filed by Congress MLA Rizwan Arshad.

Rizwan had lodged the defamation suit against Kateel and state BJP social media chief after the party, in a tweet during the 2019 Lok Sabha election, alleged Rizwan’s involvement in the manufacture of fake voter identity cards.

Apart from Kateel, head of the party’s social media unit has also been asked to appear in person at the above court on February 24.

Udupi, Jul 24: Udupi Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has filed a complaint with the Cybercrime Police alleging that fake websites were created in the Corporation name and charging for registration to 1800 engineer jobs amidst covid-19 crisis. 

In a complaint submitted to Udupi Cyber Crime, Economic Offences & Narcotics (CEN) police station on Friday, UPCL Association General Manager K Shashidar alleged that four fake websites have been created in the name of UPCL and have claimed that 1,800 engineers posts are vacant in UPCL.

The fake websites have also been demanding Rs 500 fee for the registration of the job aspirants.

The FAKE websites are: www.udupipowerproject.com, www.upclindia.com, www.udupiproject.com, www.udupiproject.in. Helpline numbers +918046800985, +911149409800, +911149409807  too have been given in these fake websites.

Udupi CEN station has registered a case under Section 66(c), 66(d) of IT Act.
