Look-out notice against Yuva Brigade leader Naresh Shenoy

nareshMangaluru, Apr 6: The Mangaluru Police have issued a look-out notice against Naresh Shenoy, the founder of the city unit of NaMo Brigade (now known as Yuva Brigade), a right wing group, in connection with the murder of 51-year-old RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

The activist was hacked to death allegedly by three persons near his house at Kodialbail here on March 21. The police have so far arrested two persons allegedly involved in the murder.

Police Commissioner M. Chandra Sekhar said that the look-out notice was a step to prevent him from leaving the country.

Mr. Chandra Sekhar said that they need to question him in connection with the murder. Mr. Chandra Sekhar said that they are yet to find Shiva (20) of Panjimogaru and Srikant (40) of Kavoor, who are suspected to be involved in the crime.

Even if he caught by police, nothing will be going to happen!! he will get bail and will be released by court and will get hero welcome plus MLA or MP seat in next election!! this s what happening in our country in recent years.

Bengaluru, Mar 9: The first case of Nov Corona patient was found in Karnataka with a 40 year-old Software Engineer, who returned from US, developing fever today at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in the City. This is the first case reported in the State.

Disclosing this to newsmen, Karnataka Minister for Medical Education Dr K Sudhakar said that the techie, his wife and their one child arrived from US on Feb 28 and were under observation.

He said that there were no indication or any symptoms immediately after their arrival and also for the first four days, but on March 5 the Techie developed fever and today (Monday) it was confirmed that he is suffering from the killer disease.

Mangaluru, May 13: Kinz Foundation started distributing around 1500 food packets daily for migrant workers migrating in different parts of Dakshina Kannada district amidst coastal coronavirus lockdown.

"We are distributing daily 1,500 food packets both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The number will be increased to 5,000," said businessman Althaf Hussain who arranged food packets on May 13.

"These are trying times. The poor migrants who are being denied of their bread due to the lockdown deserve help and we are trying to bring them food which is most basic needs.” he added.

Bengaluru, June 21: Three youngsters lost their lives when an alleged wheeling stunt turned near Jakkur flyover in the city today morning. 

The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Hadi, Ahmed Khan and Syed Riaz, all residents of Nagavara Govindapura.

The tragedy took place at around 6:30 a.m. While two among them died on the spot, the third one breathed his last at a hospital, soruces said.

Yelahanka traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
