Look-out notice against Yuva Brigade leader Naresh Shenoy

nareshMangaluru, Apr 6: The Mangaluru Police have issued a look-out notice against Naresh Shenoy, the founder of the city unit of NaMo Brigade (now known as Yuva Brigade), a right wing group, in connection with the murder of 51-year-old RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.

The activist was hacked to death allegedly by three persons near his house at Kodialbail here on March 21. The police have so far arrested two persons allegedly involved in the murder.

Police Commissioner M. Chandra Sekhar said that the look-out notice was a step to prevent him from leaving the country.

Mr. Chandra Sekhar said that they need to question him in connection with the murder. Mr. Chandra Sekhar said that they are yet to find Shiva (20) of Panjimogaru and Srikant (40) of Kavoor, who are suspected to be involved in the crime.

Even if he caught by police, nothing will be going to happen!! he will get bail and will be released by court and will get hero welcome plus MLA or MP seat in next election!! this s what happening in our country in recent years.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rationalised the syllabus for classes IX to XII for the academic year 2020-21 by up to 30 per cent to make up for academic loss caused due to COVID-19, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced on Tuesday.

"Looking at the extraordinary situation prevailing in the country and the world, CBSE was advised to revise the curriculum and reduce course load for the students of classes IX to XII.

"To aid the decision, a few weeks back I also invited suggestions from all educationists on the reduction of syllabus for students and I am glad to share that we received more than 1.5K suggestions. Thank you, everyone, for the overwhelming response," Nishank tweeted.

"Considering the importance of learning achievement, it has been decided to rationalize syllabus up to 30 per cent by retaining the core concepts," he added.

Tumakuru, Mar 1: A leopard killed 30-month-old kid when she was playing outside her home in Baichnehalli village in Hebbur Hobli in Tumakuru district, police said on Sunday.

Police said that the deceased has been identified as Chandana. The incident happened on Saturday evening.

Forest and police officials visited the spot. A case has been registered in this connection.

Karnataka Minister for Forest Ananda Singh issued a shoot at sight order for the leopard which killed a 30-month-old boy while playing in front of his house on Sunday.

Speaking to newsmen after visiting the Bichenahalli where the kid was killed, he said that the operation will begin on Monday. The kid was dragged by the leopard and killed Saturday night.

Earlier also the same leopard had killed five-year-old child in the district, he added.

Mangaluru, Jul 2: A BJP MLA in Dakshina Kannada has tested positive for covid-19.

Dr Bharat Shetty, who represents Mangaluru North Assembly constituency, took to Twitter to confirm the news.

“I have been tested covid-19 positive. With all your blessings, I'm recovering and will be under treatment for few days,” he tweeted. 

He also requested the people to maintain social distancing, wear masks while going out and wash hands frequently.
