Man arrested for forcing wife to have sex with dog

Belagavi, Mar 28: A 28-year-old man at Hulkund village in Ramdurg taluk is accused of forcing his wife to have sex with a dog. The woman went along with it initially but later went to police and got him arrested.

abusee Sahadev (name changed), a tractor driver by profession, had been showing his wife, Sharmila (not her real name), pornography and expected her to act like pornstars.

Sometime ago, he started showing her pornography involving bestiality. He asked her to have sex with a dog. She hesitated initially but had to go along with it when he tortured her physically, Superintendent of Police B R Ravikanthe Gowda said. Sharmila, however, couldn’t bear it any longer and filed a complaint at the Katkol police station. Police arrested the man under IPC section 377 (unnatural offence). They have seized the dog and a mobile phone. The couple have three children, including two daughters.

Couple, son murdered by miscreants

Belagavi, Jan 19: Miscreants have murdered a couple and their son at Dodwad Village, about 50 km from here, in the wee hours on Sunday.

The victims were identified as Shvananda Basavanthappa Andanashetty, his wife Shanthavva and their son Vinod.

Senior Police officials visited the spot and a case was registered at Dodwad Police Station.

Cops booked for custodial death in Bengaluru Rural

Bengaluru, Apr 12: Two police officials have been booked for murder in connection with the alleged custodial death of a theft accused in Bengaluru rural district, police said on Saturday.

A case of murder has been registered against inspector Raghu and sub-inspector Rakesh C for the alleged custodial death of Munikulla on Friday afternoon, Superintendent of Police, Bengaluru rural district, Ravi D Channannavar told reporters.

"Yes. A case has been registered and transferred to CID," he said.

Munikulla, a resident of Nadavatti village, was picked up by the police on April 7, his wife Dhanalakshmi told the media on Saturday.

"Policemen took my husband with them. They beat him up and killed him," she said.

Alleging that Munikulla was a victim of police high- handedness, Hoskote MLA Sharath Bachegowda said he had lodged a complaint with the state DGP Praveen Sood demanding a CID inquiry into the case.

An FIR was registered against Munikulla on Friday evening based on a complaint by the cashier of the liquor store, who had claimed that the CCTV footage showed victim's involvement.
