talaqAccording to the reports, Shahnawaz, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district, about 500 km from here, called his wife a few days ago and pronounced the word talaq' thrice and severed all relations with her.

“He (husband) called me and started abusing me the moment I said salam (paying respect)....and then suddenly he said talaq thrice,” said Afreen (name changed), the victim.

“Tujhe azad kar diya (I have freed you),” she said repeating her husband's words.

Afreen, hailing from Muzaffarnagar district, was married to Shahnawaz two years ago and has a daughter. “Everything was fine until the birth of the baby...the attitude of my husband and his family members changed suddenly,” she said.

He is a crazy without having any knowledge of islam. He only knows Talaq but does not know how to implement or follow it. such people are bringing shame to muslims and Islam. He should apologise for this great mistake and ask for pardon from Allah. May Allah give him right knowledge of Islam.

This is an ignorant act to Claim a divorce, Divorce, in Islam is the most uncalled act for any man or women. The conditions and procedures are highly thoughtful & very clearly mentioned in Quran. A short example of one of the conditions: A triple Talaq doesnt mean reciting the word thrice & done, but, Giving a waiting period of 1 month to resolute and try to improve in between each claim of Talaq.

I would wish the commentators here just go through what the Quran says from the right source and understand the integrity of Justice given to both gender. This holds good for generations that's passed and for future to come.

When such incidents happens..
its a way Non Muslims & Some ignorant Muslims will know the reality of the divine law.
We Muslims know that Devils are most happy when couple part...
So a true Muslims will try to stay together as much as they can save their marriage form splitting each other.. and There is an option for the couple who could not go along with the partner.. (For eg : if the husband is dunkard and wife have a chance to give khula (talaq) or if the wife is dunkard and husband can have the option of giving talaq despite several warnings to quit the habit)

WE see compared to other religions, Muslim divorce rate is very less...
I would request the Non Muslims and the ignorant muslims who misuse this divine law to look the answers from the source or please check below video

If there is rift between couples, if every ways of compromise failed to unite them... is there any other solution other than divorce ? whether he proclaimed thru phone or writing letter or any other valid means , discussion on 'way of talaq' is second option.. discussion on 'condition of couple's relationship' should be first option for discussion...

Bengaluru, Jan 8: Accusing the BJP of running a "fake news factory" at full potential, former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said according to reports only Rs 669 crore of additional flood relief funds are being released by the Centre for the state as opposed to the ruling party's claim of Rs 1,869.85 crore.

Reacting to his attack, the State BJP unit, without clarifying on the actuals of the amount being released, said it believed in speaking the truth and not spreading lies.

Siddaramaiah, leader of the opposition in the state assembly, tweeted: "Reports from State govt officials tells that only Rs 669 crore of addl funds (sic) are released in 2nd instalment as opposed to the claim of Rs 1870 Cr by @BJP4Karnataka leaders. At a time when manufacturing industries are closing, BJP's fake news factory is running at full potential!!"

Calling BJP leaders "devotees of the God of lies," he said in another tweet that Prime Minister Narendra Modi released an additional Rs 669.85 crore moved by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa's plea, taking the total amount to Rs 1,869.85 crore. He said it was funny that they were attempting to depict the total relief amount as 1200+1869.85 equalling to Rs 3,069.85 crore.

Siddaramiahs tweet was in response to Karnataka BJPs tweet last night claiming that the High-Level Committee (HLC) Chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah has approved the release of Rs 1869.85 crore as central assistance to the state towards flood relief. This was in addition to Rs 1200 crore already released by the Centre in October 2019, the BJP unit had said.

On Monday, the HLC had approved additional central assistance to seven states affected by floods last year, from National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF), including Karnataka.

While a PIB release states that Rs 1869.85 crore was approved for Karnataka, according to sources in the state government the figure was inclusive of Rs 1,200 crore released in October. Earlier in the day, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa while expressing confidence that more funds will be released in later stages, maintained that Rs 1869 crore has been released in addition to Rs 1,200 crore earlier, and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"...funds will never be enough, they (central government) will release in stages, they have released such big amount- earlier Rs 1200 crore, now again Rs 1869 crore- I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for it," he told reporters here.

Revenue Minister R Ashoka said the state government will press for more funds in the days to come, and the state government will fulfil promises made to those hit by floods.

Karnataka faced two spells of unprecedented rains and floods last year, resulting in widespread damage to life and property, following which the state government had submitted a report to the centre claiming loss was to the tune of about Rs 38,000 crore.

Reacting to Siddaramaiah's attack of "fake news factory" against it, the state BJP tweeted "Ayyo @siddaramaiah Avare, We surrender to You as we are incapable of running Fake News Factory like You or @INCIndia.

We believe in speaking the Truth like Gandhiji, not spreading lies like Goebbels. Kannadigas still remember the "Lies Bhagya (a scheme)" you gave them as CM from 2013-18."

Mumbai, Jun 26: In a humanitarian gesture, a mosque in Bhiwandi town of adjoining Thane district has been converted by its administrators into a temporary COVID-19 facility, where oxygen is provided free of cost to patients.

The facility at Makkah Masjid in the Shanti Nagar area of the powerloom town has been set up by the local chapter of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Movement for Peace and Justice and the Shanti Nagar Trust, which runs the mosque.

Apart from putting up five beds equipped with oxygen cylinders, the JIH also delivers them for free to patients homes if required, an office-bearer of the JIH said, adding the makeshift facility is open to all communities.

So far, the Bhiwandi-Nizampur municipality has recorded over 1,332 COVID-19 cases and 88 casualties. It has a mortality rate of 5.26 per cent, a release stated.

"Bhiwandi-Nizampur has been hit hard by the pandemic as it is a congested city. It doesn't even have proper health infrastructure.

"The situation has only worsened during the pandemic as general medical practitioners have shut their clinics fearing the virus spread," said Ausaf Ahmed Falahi, president of the JIH's Bhiwandi chapter.

As a majority of people here lack awareness about the viral disease and are unable to afford treatment, a facility like this one was the need of the hour, he said.

Over 70 persons have benefited from this facility, which has two doctors, while 15 oxygen cylinders have been delivered to the homes of eight COVID-19 patients, Falahi said.

People irrespective of their religion have been availing treatment at the mosque, he added.

"Makkah Masjid has been shut for prayers since the lockdown. So, we decided to use a part of the premises to help those who can't avail treatment elsewhere," said Qaiser Mirza of the Shanti Nagar Trust.
