Mangaluru, Oct 29: Indian Coast Guard personal have rescued nine fishermen who were caught in the middle of Arabian Sea, despite heavy rain and gasty wind blowing under the influence of cyclone 'Kyarr, an official statement said here on Tuesday.
Commander S S Dasila of Indian Coast Guard HQ at Panambur-Mangaluru stated that distress message was received from the Office of SP, CSP, Malpe regarding missing of two fishing boats IFB Ganga Ganesh and IFB Suvarna Jyothi with six crew each on the board.
Their last known position of IFBs was reported off Vasco.
