Manjeshwar, Oct 19: With the public campaign for the October 21 bye-lection coming to a close on Saturday evening, all the three political fronts in the fray in the Manjeshwar Assembly Constituency, which is number 1 in the 144-seater Kerala Assembly, are all out in persuading the voters to cast their votes in their favour.
It is more than an election but a retributing one for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) this time as it was between the cup and lip that its nominee K Surendran had lost the battle in 2016 election and that too would have been reversed in his favour had the saffron party leader did not withdrew his case challenging the election alleging bogus votes by the winning UDF.
