Mansoor Deera elected president of Al-Madrastul Badriya Riyadh

Riyadh: The fifth annual general body meeting of Al-Madrastul Badriya (AMB) Riyadh, held on November 13, at its one of the active members, Shareef’s residence at Batha, here.

Mansoor Deera was unanimously elected as President for the year 2014-15. M.M Ali presided over the function. The outgoing president Mohammed from 4th Block Krishnapura, thanked all its members for their supports in conducting several social and religious activities in 4th block Krishnapura.

AMB is a unit of Al Badria Jumma Masjid 7th Block Krishnapura providing its support to less privileged family in 4th block Krishnapura.

Treasurer B.M Ismail submitted the financial report for the year 2013-14. The new president Mansoor Deera promised the gathering to bring up the committee with collecting more charities to help financially downtrodden families in and around 4th block Krishnapura. 

New office bearers for the year 2014-15 are as follows:

Doha: Selvam aged 46 son of Subramanian hailing from Panakulam Village, Alangudi, Pudukkottai District in Tamilnadu province who worked as a technician, died in Qatar on April 24.

Due to challenging situation prevailing in both India & Qatar for body repatriation services, especially in Covid-19 atmosphere, Family is unable to progress further for past 2 months. At his stage Family of the deceased met Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Pudukkottai office bearers and requested to intervene and help out, and also agreed to bury the body in Qatar itself.

Hence, SDPI delegates communicated with well-known Indian Expatriate welfare Organization - Qatar Indian Social Forum (QISF). QISF General Secretary Basheer Ahamed, Secretary Abdullatheef Madikeri and team collected the required documents from the family of the deceased and managed to clear all the necessary formalities from the police department, Health Department, Embassy of India and Hamad Medical Corporation within a short period of time and arranged for a peaceful burial of Mr. Selvam in Dukhan cemetery.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.
