Hubballi, Apr 2: The minority leaders of the Congress have told the high command that there was no need to give party ticket to any minority candidate to contest in the Lok Sabha polls but to save the country and the Constitution from 'Modi BJP', according to former minister C M Ibrahim.
Speaking to media persons here today he said that Congress candidate from Dharwad constituency would be finalised before the last day of nomination filing for the second phase of polls in Karnataka.
He also said, this election is not a fight for power, but to save the country.
Along with him, Dharwad ticket aspirants Vinay Kulkarni and Shakir Sanadi, MLA Prasad Abbayya, MLC Abdul Jabbar, Sadanand Danganavar, Ismail Tamatagar, and others discuss with Coalition Government Coordination Committee chairman Siddaramaiah.
