Molester grabs woman while talking on phone, carries her off; witnesses ignore

Bengaluru, May 2: A CCTV camera has caught the brazen abduction of a woman by an unidentified man while she was standing outside her PG accommodation in Bengaluru.blore copy

The video shows the man walking up to the unsuspecting woman, grabbing her from behind and carrying her to a secluded spot, where she was allegedly molested by the accused. The woman was talking on the phone when the horrific incident took place.

The 25-year-old woman works at a beauty clinic in Bengaluru's Kalyan Nagar area.

The woman, who hails from Manipur, has alleged that the police took no action against the accused and even refused to register a complaint in her case. The cops eventually registered a case after the woman was forced to produce the CCTV footage.

The CCTV footage clearly shows people walking the same street from where the woman was abducted but nobody came forward to help her.

In this case sad thing is bypassers did not help. I suggest wherever any kind of molestation or any act against women takeplace ladies act first then men joins you. Give him lesson & it would be lesson to all newspaper readers or tv news viewers.
Public thinks we safe why should we drag any problem from roadies. This is encouraged coward roudies. Unless public especially ladies did not act nothing will happen. Police dept is usless as they have lot of VVIP issues.

Mangaluru, Jun 2: The Karnataka Muzarai department, whose main income comes through temple and other religious places of worship, has incurred a loss of Rs 600 Crore in revenue during the lock-down, Minister for Muzrai Kota Srinivas Poojary said on Monday.

Addressing reporters here, he said the Kollur Sri Mookambika temple alone lost revenue of about Rs 14 crore it was earning during April and May.

Around 300 A and B grade temples under Muzrai (Hindu religious institutions and charitable endowments) department in the State lost around 35 per cent of their annual income, he said.

Davanagere, Apr 26: Amid the national lockdown imposed by the Centre to check the spread of coronavirus, social distancing norms were flouted as BJP MLA from Honnali -- MP Renukacharya -- held a meeting of ASHA workers on Thursday.

The workers were present in large numbers and no distance of at least one metre between the workers was maintained during the meeting.

However, the workers were seen wearing masks at the meeting but violating the norms of social distancing.

Social distancing is one of the measures that can help people avoid contracting the highly contagious coronavirus.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Karnataka has a total of 489 positive COVID-19 cases of which, 153 patients have recovered and 18 patients have died due to the deadly virus.

Kasaragod, Jun 2: Kumbala police on Tuesday arrested 20 persons on charges of misbehaving and obstructing a medical team who were on official duty for Covid-19.

Police sources said the incident occurred at Kumbala beach near here on Monday evening when a group of locals misbehaved and obstructed an eight-member medical team, comprising of doctors and health workers, from carrying out a survey to asertain whether there has been a community spread of Covid-19 in that locality.

The health team was on a mission to gather data of people who had interacted with expatriates after they had returned to hometown recently.
