Muslims cannot use cow urine products, reminds Darul Uloom

Lucknow, Aug 22: Use of any product which has cow urine is banned in Islam, the Darul Uloom in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh, has ruled, an official said on Monday.

Darul Uloom, the highest seat of education in Islam, was responding to a query by a commoner about the products of Patanjali, the brand of yoga guru-turned-entrepreneur Baba Ramdev. The Deoband seminary said that the products which had "declared contents of urine of cow" were 'najayaz' (unlawful) in Islam.

A person had asked the Darul Ifta department about the sanctity of such use. The seminary, in its response dated August 18, clarified that while other products of Patanjali could be used, any product which declares that it had cow urine in it, should not be used by Muslims, as it was in contravention of the tenets of the religion.

2. You need to know which is Life manual for the human beings &
3. Who bring that manual & taught how to lead a life successful.

Even by mistake step on to cow urine have to clean immediately with Dettol soap because it contains lots of germs, forget about drink...its really bullshit

Why should we use this brand PATANJALI,

What is the guarantee he does not use urine when he is using it in other products.

Muslims should boycott such products. Produce your own product which can be useful to all communities.

Yes, it is dirty...do not touch and smell it....forget about using...you cannot smell it....

Urine is waste of our body which God has made a system to remove bad things from our body... And U stupid guys want to drink it... clearly evils acts to follow its way of eating waste

No shortage of water for upcoming summer in DK: Kota Shrinivas Poojari

Mangaluru, Feb 23: Karnataka Minister for Fisheries and Religious Endowment Kota Shrinivas Poojari on Sunday said that there will be no shortage of water during the summer season in Dakshina Kannada district as per a review done by the district administration and the Panchayati Raj Department.

He said that periodic review will be conducted and based on that appropriate decisions will be taken.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, February 23, Poojari said that the main source of water for Mangaluru, the Thumbe vented dam, has a steady inflow of water.

Mangaluru: Over 1500 students, teacehrs to take part in ABVP state conference

Mangaluru, Feb 6: Over 1500 students and teachers are expected to take part in a three-day State-level conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) starting on Friday here.

Reception Committee chairman K.C. Nayak and secretary Shantharama Shetty told reporters here today that Deputy Chief Minister C.N. Ashwath Narayana would inaugurate the conference at the Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall.

The former ABVP national president and former Nagaland Governor P.B. Acharya would preside over the programme that would be attended by Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor P.S. Yadapadithaya, ABVP national organising secretary Ashish Chauhan and others.

Dakshina Kannada, Udupi record 346 new covid cases, 4 deaths

Mangaluru, July 18: The coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi recorded a total of 346 covid positive cases in last 24 hours. Dakshina Kannada recorded 4 new deaths.

While DK recorded 237 positive cases, neighbouring Udupi saw 109 people testing positive. It may be recalled that DK and Udupi had reported a combined record spurt of 347 Covid-19 cases for a single day on Thursday.

Dakshina Kannada

As many as 26,368 samples have been sent for tests so far. Among them 23,096 have turned out negative, and 3,311 people have received positive report. Currently there are 1,848 active cases while 1,387 persons have recovered. 109 patients were discharged from Wenlock as well as private hospitals today. Including today’s four deaths, 75 people have succumbed to covid. Among them 12 are from other districts.

The patients whose deaths were reported today are a 74-year-old female from Puttur who was also suffering from heart disease and asthma, a 67-year-old male who was suffering from pneumonia and was on ventilator, and two females aged 49 and 61 from Mangaluru who suffered cardiac arrest.

Udupi

With 109 new cases, the total number of covid positive cases reported in the district mounted to 2088. Among new cases 58 belong to Udupi taluk, 40 are from Kundapur and 11 from Karkala.

A total of 24,382 samples have been collected so far, including 524 on Saturday, out of which 17 are coronavirus suspects and 317 are COVID contacts. Out of them, 21,757 samples have turned out to be negative, including 292 on Saturday, and 537 reports are awaited.

As many as 1,586 patients have been discharged so far including 43 on Saturday, and 492 cases are currently active. Ten deaths have occurred so far. One positive case has been transferred to Dakshina Kannada.
