Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs celebrate Krishina Janmashtami at dargah

August 26, 2016

Jaipur, Aug 26: Even as communalism takes its toll on the country, Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs celebrated the birthday of Sri Krishna at the dargah of Sharif Hazrat Hajib Shakarbar in a little village in Jhunjhunu district on Janmashtami, cementing the syncretic and peaceful culture that existed between communities stretching back to centuries.krish

The dargah at Narhad village near Chirwa town of Jhunjhunu has been celebrating this joyful occasion for over 300 years by organizing musical dramas, 'qawalis' and skits on this day.

The celebrations hark back to a period of the country when poets such as Maulana Hasrat Mohani, Nazir Akbarabadi penned various poems on Sri Krishna.

The 'bhajan' made famous by various singers, including Hariharan, 'Kya kya kahoon main kanhiya ka balpan...' (`What I can say about Krishna's childhood...'), was penned by Akbarabadi.

Thousands of Hindus come with flowers, coconuts and sweets to be offered at the shrine. The festivities, which continue for three days, conclude on Janmashtami.

Usman Ali Pathan, the secretary of the dargah, said, "The 400 shops in the vicinity of the dargah organizes skits, dance dramas and qawalis to mark the birth of Lord Krishna. From what my ancestors told me, the tradition was begun by Sufi saints to promote Hindu-Muslim brotherhood."

People from many states, including Maharashtra, Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh, visit the dargah during the festival. "Thousands of Hindus come here on Janmasthami and offer flowers, 'chadar,' coconuts and sweets at the shrine," he said.

God says there is no God but him alone. He also says in QURAN that those who associate partners with him will not enter Paradise which is eternal (No death there). An intelligent person will not take it as simple msg, He will check if it is really God speaking or any man made thing...

So this intelligent person will research and study the Quran, also previous scriptures (original bible & torah and there are some elements in Vedas) to know WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF OUR LIFE?

When our intention is HONEST to look for the TRUTH, GOD who put soul in us and CREATED us will surely show us the Signs of HIM and those who got his guidance are really BLESSED...

If some Muslims wants to hide the non muslims of the TRUTH of associating partners with him ... it is HE is hiding the TRUTH with U non muslims of severe punishment for associating partners with him...

God is JUST he created us and we worship man made things ... isnt it right that people recognise this TRUE GOD and WORSHIP him alone.

Quran explain in Surah 114:
Say He is ALLAH, the one and only,
ALLAH , the eternal absolute,
He begetheth not Nor is he begotten
And there is NONE like unto HIM

VEDAS also says \NA TASYA PrATIMA ASTI - There is no image of God.

Krishna is just like human (So TRUE MUSLIMS cannot except him as GOD) . There will be some illiterate in the knowledge of God in Muslim community as well... It is either bcos of his weak faith or other reasons. God knows best what is their FATE...

But for ME ... I cannot deny GOD and join the party of associating partners with HIM ... O ALLAH save me from SHIRK and Save me from the HELL fire which is eternal (No death there too)"

Ideal worship is Haraam & Shirk. we believe there is only one creator and we cant see him. otherwise i could have joined and enjoyed these kind of get together along with my non Muslims Brothers. But being Muslim our first faith itself is One God and for him no partner and no family. But my family and me Love our Non Muslim Brothers and Sisters so much as our own family members.

Communal peace and harmony not by celebrating Krishna Jayanthi or Mohammed Jayanthi... It is completely prohibited in Islam even Prophet's (PBUH) birthday celebration.

We can bring communal harmony in the society by helping one another, understanding one another feeding poor people in all community.. Brotherly life in the society... Celebrating these kind of Jayanthi just for name sake..it is not acceptable at all..

Bengaluru, Jan 29: Ramesh Jarkiholi on Tuesday demanded that he and all the newly elected MLAs, who won the bypolls after defecting from the Congress and JD(S), be inducted into the cabinet — likely on January 31 — as promised by chief minister BS Yediyurappa.

"We are hoping all 11 MLAs will be made ministers," Jarkiholi said. "That is what the BJP and the CM promised us and we hope they will keep their promise." This is the first time Jarkiholi has spoken in public on cabinet berths, ever since reports surfaced of the party high command not being in favour of inducting all the turncoats into the council of ministers.

Jarkiholi also said fellow rebel AH Vishwanath should be given a ministerial berth.

Vishwanath, formerly of the JD(S), had lost the bypolls. Jarkiholi said the rebellion would not have succeeded had it not been for Vishwanath.

"Those of us who rebelled against the JD(S)-Congress coalition government got a shot in the arm when Vishwanath supported us," Jarkiholi said. "It is imperative that we support him," he said, even as he sought to distance himself from comments made by newly-elected MLAs ST Somashekar and D Sudhakar, who said Vishwanath cannot demand a ministerial post.

Meanwhile, the BJP issued another deadline — January 31 — to expand the cabinet. "In all likelihood, cabinet expansion will take place on Friday," said an aspirant for a berth. But several BJP functionaries are skeptical of meeting the new deadline.

"Till now, the CM has not been given the green signal by the high command. This is all I can say," said a senior minister in Yediyurappa’s cabinet, while insisting he wouldn’t be surprised if the exercise was postponed till the Delhi elections are over.

Former minister and independent R Shankar, who along with Mahesh Kumatalli and Shrimant Patil accompanied Jarkiholi to a trip to Nanjangud, Mysuru district, has upped the pressure on Yediyurappa to field him in the bypoll to the lone vacant council seat. "I am confident the CM and the BJP will honour promises made to me," Shankar said.

The former minister had joined the BJP during the rebellion, but was not given a ticket to contest the bypolls.

In Chikkamagaluru, deputy chief minister Govind M Karjol insisted he is prepared to step down if needed to enable new entrants into the cabinet. "I’m a disciplined solider of the party. If the BJP directs me to submit my resignation, I will do so and return my official car and take a bus to Bengaluru," Karjol said. He said anyone who doesn’t respect the party line will not grow. "It is imperative to toe the party line," he said.

Jan 14: A police complaint was lodged on Tuesday against BJP West Bengal unit president Dilip Ghosh for his threat to "beat up" and "shoot' " anti-CAA protesters, whom he called "infiltrators".

The complaint was registered in Ranaghat police station of Nadia district by a Trinamool Congress worker Krishnendu Banerjee, who alleged that Ghosh was inciting communal passion.

Addressing a party rally on Sunday in Ranathat, about 80 km from Kolkata, Ghosh went ballistic, saying the governments in BJP-ruled Assam, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have shot dead "like dogs" those protesting against the new Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

Alleging there were one crore infiltrators in the state, Ghosh had accused them of destroying public property worth Rs 500-600 crore during the violent protests against the CAA last month

"Friends, please know these people who are opposing Hindus and Bengalis. In whose interest are they doing this? There are one crore infiltrators. They are having their meals and staying here on our money".

He accused the state's Mamata Banerjee government of remaining silent a spectator to the violence.

"This (violence) happened because there was neither any baton charge, nor firing, nor was any FIR filed. Why? Didi's police did not arrest anybody... because they vote for her".

He then referred to the three states ruled by the BJP.

"In Assam, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh, our governments have shot dead these devils like dogs. They were taken elsewhere and then again cases were filed against them. They will come here, eat, stay, and then destroy property. Do they think this is their zamindari?"

He had said once a BJP government was installed in Bengal, "We will hit them with sticks, shoot them and also send them to jail. Our governments have done exactly that. Mamata Banerjee doesn't have the guts to do anything".

However, his incendiary comments did not meet the approval of sections in the party.

Union Minister Babul Supriyo came out with a tweet slamming Ghosh and distancing the BJP from the comments.

"Very irresponsible of Dilip Da to have said what he said. It is a figment of his imagination... BJP governments in UP and Assam have never resorted to shooting people for whatever reason," he tweeted.

Supriyo's tweet was retweeted by nominated Rajya Sabha member Swapan Dasgupta, considered close to both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

But Ghosh did not budge and aggressively asked whether the party was being run by Shah or Supriyo.

"People comment according to their understanding. What I feel is that our governments have done it, and so I said all that. If we get a chance we will also do such things," he said, sticking to his earlier comments.

Supriyo also hit back. "Just as he has remarked 'whatever Babul Supriyo has understood he has said', similarly I am saying this is Dilip da's personal opinion, and it has no connection with the party".
