TeamLease-IIJT launches Mangalore's First Satellite Enabled Training Centre

Mangalore March 22: TeamLease Services, India's largest staffing solutions company and Indian Institute of Job Training (IIJT) announced the launch of the new satellite enabled training in finance at the Mangalore centre. The centre at Kankanady, Mangalore will offer career courses like CBA, IBA & CFP. Modular courses like Tally 9.0, Computer Fundamentals, Accounts, Costing, Taxation, Stock Market Operations, Banking & finance, Export & Import & Job Skills will also ensure successful access for students into the job market.




On this occasion, Ports and Fisheries Minister Krishna J Palemar said “Developing our human capital is a very important investment. Mangalore being a developing district has a vast talent pool that has the potential to be tapped and developed. We are sure that the training by IIJT will help successfully improve the employability and employment potential of the youth of Mangalore.”



“I thank IIJT for this great initiative of launching Mangalore's first satellite enabled training centre that will recognize the necessary job skills required by the youth of this state. We believe that IIJT experience and expertises will dramatically alter the chances of success for the candidates with greater benefit of the working age youth in Mangalore”. said MLA Yogesh Bhat .

Yadgir, Feb 27: A four-year-old girl and her four-month-old sibling died after consuming pesticide mistaking it to juice at Kodal village in Vadagera taluk of Yadgir district on Wednesday.

After noticing her daughters lying lifeless, mother Shehnaz attempted suicide by consuming poison.

Khairunna (4) mistook pesticide for juice and consumed it while her mother was busy doing household chores. She also reportedly made her four-month-old sister drink. 

Upon seeing the siblings lying lifeless, Shehnaz, fearing her husband and mother-in-law, attempted suicide by consuming poison.

All three were rushed to Yadgir district hospital. The siblings died while their mother is battling for her life.

Bengaluru, Jul 12: KCTET 2020: Attention candidates, the Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister has confirmed the exam dates for Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET 2020.

As per information, KCET 2020 will be held between July 30 and July 31.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test or KCET is an examination which is held for admission to BTech courses in the state’s institutes.

The Higher Education Minister C N Ashwathnarayan, took to twitter to confirm the KCET dates. The Minister tweeted:

“The K-CET 2020 examinations will be held on the decided dates of July 30 & July 31. All the best to all the students!”

Details regarding KCET exam centers, time, and schedule will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates can download their admit card fro the official website of KEA i.e. cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

KCET 2020 was earlier scheduled to be held from April 22 to April 24, 2020, however, due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, KEA postponed KCET 2020 exams.

Bengaluru, May 20: 63 more COVID-19 cases have been reported from Karnataka, taking the total number of coronavirus cases in the state to 1,458 on Wednesday, said the state Health Department.

The total number of cases includes, 864 active cases and 41 deaths (one due to non-COVID cause), it added.

Total 10 people have been discharged today while 553 persons have been discharged so far.
