The ex-Chief Minister of Karnataka, accompanied by thousands of JD(S) wrokers has launched an indefinite hunger strike, in Bangalore pressing for a CBI probe into ruling BJP's charge that his family members amassed illegal wealth to the tune of Rs. 1,500 crore.
Just like Mr Kumaraswamy, who preferred not to address the workers during the protest, his Mangalorean followers too decided to sit silently from 10 am to 5 pm.
Former Minister Amarnath Shetty and local JD(S) leader MG Hegde, Shashraj Shetty, DM Aslam and Aziz Kudroli were present among the protesters.
