Yuva Morcha attacks Union leaders

July 29, 2011
Mangalore, July 29: Central leaders including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi came under attack at the 'Yuva Sangarsh Aandolan' organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha at Sangh Niketan here on Friday.

Addressing the gathering, State Vice President of Morcha Dr Y Bharath Shetty lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on 'saffron terrorism' and comparing Hindutva organisations with terrorist outfits. “He has lost his mental stability,” he said.

“Hindu girls are being systematically converted in the name of 'love jihad. Now, the Congress led Union Government is going to introduce the 'Prevention of Communal Violence Bill' to suppress Hindus,” he said adding “This would not be tolerated.”

Dr Shetty said that the youth wing of BJP would wage a war against Union government's corruption.

Recalling the thorny path traversed by BJP, its leader Pratap Simha said that the saffron party would not budge to any conspiracies.

He exhorted the youth to live like soldiers and get ready to 'sacrifice their lives for the country'.

Former MLA Padmanabha Kottari, DK District President of Morcha Kishor Kumar Puttur, General Secretary Rajesh Shetty Pajirguthu and presidents, vice-presidents and secretaries of all the district units of Morcha were present on the occasion.
