Mangalore, November 11: The admission process for training courses for various competitive examinations was launched on Friday at newly instituted Campus Career Academy in the city.

S Ganesh Rao, Founder President of Karavali Group of Colleges formally inaugurated the admission process by handing over an application to a student.

He said that dividing people on the basis of party, religion and economic status is an act against the humanity. “Politics and religion should be utilized for useful purposes and not as a tool to pull each-others' legs. “There is a need to promote love, trust and harmony in the society”, he said.

Umer U H, the Director of the Academy said that they have conducted many career guidance programmes even before launching the Academy, and many government schools and colleges have been chosen as the venue for such programmes. He also exhorted the students to join the police and administrative services.

Coaching to face competitive examinations like UPSC, KPSC, FDA, SDA, PDO, PSI, PC, etc. will be provided in the Academy, he said.

It would also help the students to develop their personality by improving their spoken English, communication skills and general knowledge, which are necessary for private sector jobs, he said.

“Personality development, English language, Quranic Arabic classes, basic computer classes and coaching in mathematics and science syllabus for SSLC students and physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology for PUC students will also be handled here”, he added.
