'Mangalore District Committee' of Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees formed

Mangalore, December 4: Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees, an organization which served India since 1906 in the religious awareness, social works and national interest has formed its “Mangalore District Committee” on Saturday, December 3 at Surya Mini Hall on Balmatta road.


Fadilatus Shaikh Muhammad Zubair Madani, Ameer, Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees, Karnataka-Goa presided the meeting.


Fadilatus Shaikh Ejaz Ahmed Nadvi, Khatheeb, Markaz-e-Masjid Char Minar, Bangalore spoke on “The History of Ahl-e-Hadees”


Fadilatus Shaikh Inayathullah Madani, IEC Mangalore spoke on “Importance of Jama'at”


Najmuddin Assadi, Trustee of Masjid-e-Ibrahim Khaleel, Mangalore, K P Moidinabba, Chairman of Dakshina Kannada Salafi Welfare Trust, Abdussalaam, Editor of Sirate Mustaqeem monthly Magazine and the members of Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees Ashraf Abdulkareem Bajpe and Basheer Ahmed Thota and others were present.

Belthangady, Jun 26: Thieves broke into a house at Kalmanja village in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada during the wee hours on Friday and decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 13 lakhs after tying the inmates of an areca merchant's house.

Police said the stolen valuables include 40 sovereigns gold, one kg silver and cash of Rs 25,000. The robbery took place in the house of Achyut Bhat who is an areca merchant in Ujire.

The house inmates opened the door after hearing dogs barking. Immediately the criminals, wearing masks, barged into the house and threatening to kill tied them before escaping with the booty.

Mangaluru, May 2:  Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Spokesperson P V Mohan on Saturday urged the district administration to find the source of coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada (DK) district.

He asked the district administration to ascertain from where a woman from Bantwal's Kasba contracted virus on April 19.

''We do not want to convert Dakshina Kannada into Nanjangud,'' Mr Mohan said referring to the mysterious case of Patient 52 from Nanjangud who has been identified as the main source of virus to the rest of the positive individuals in Nanjangud.

Bengaluru, Apr 15: With the reporting of the death of an 80-yr-old female from Hirebagewadi taluk in Belagavi district, the number of persons, who were died due to COVID-19 related disease, increased to 12, in Karnataka on Wednesday.

According to official sources, the deceased was a relative of another COVID-19 infected person, was succumbed to death this morning at a designated Hospital in Belagavi district.
