Dharmasthala, December 31: Opposition leader in Assembly Siddaramaiah said that he is one among the aspirants for the post of Chief Minister, as the tenure of Bharatiya Janata Party in State is coming to a permanent end.

Speaking to presspersons here on Friday, he said Congress would come out with thumping majority, if the election is announced in the State. “As there are many aspirants for the post of Chief Minister, I am also one of among them”, he added.

The Congress leader said that the fissures in the ruling BJP deepening in the State, the government would collapse at the earliest. As majority of the ministers and MLAs are facing charges against them, there is a need to dissolve the Assembly, he said.

He also said that the administrative machanism in Karnataka has completely collapsed as the' work of government is confined to protect corrupt'.

He said that the government has failed in initiating action against the Lokayukta report. It is an irony that the BJP is demanding a strong Lokpal Bill when its own government has weakened the Lokayukta system in the State.

He said that there would be change in political system after January. One need not be surprised, if a new party comes into being after dividing from the BJP.

He urged the government to ban 'Made Snana' at Subrahmanya.

Lauding the naturopathy treatment at Dharmasthala, he said that the government should support Ayurveda and Naturopathy.
