Mangalore, April 8: Chrysalis Children's Library, a lending library entirely dedicated to boys and girls between ages zero to 17 was inaugurated on Sunday in Mangalore.
Prof M B Puranik, President, Tulunadu Educational Trust, inaugurated the library while Gopikrishnan Konnanath, Associate Vice President and Head, Mangalore Development Centre, Infosys, launched the website of Chrysalis Children's Library.
The library has a collection of over 10,000 books categorized by age group and in various levels i.e. from basic picture board books for babies (0 years) to simple word books for toddlers to chapter books for boys and girls (up to 17 years).
The lending charges would be Rs 150 per month wherein four books could be taken away at a time.
Rakhee Raveendran, Founder, Chrysalis Children's Library, was also present on the occasion.
