Mangalore, April 28: Beary litterateur and journalist Hamza Malar's new work 'Ajji Sakida Pulli' was released on Saturday at press club here.

Releasing the Kannada book, Dharmadarshi Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Kannada Sahithya Parishath said that young writers like Mr Malar, who contributed several valuables works to Kannada literary world, always deserve encouragement from the readers.

He also urged the people to hone their literary skills by purchasing and reading books. “At home one must have a library,” he said.

“Mr Malar is a talented writer and we wish he writes more books for our readers”, he said.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, President of DK Zilla Kannada Sahithya Parishath, appreciating the hard work of Mr Malar said that his new book contains a good language. The title of Mr Malar's book is the true essence of life, he added.

He said that there are many words which disappear from our vocabulary and hence it is important to read books.

“We can live a beautiful life if we follow simple principles like developing hobbies. Mr Malar's hard work has borne fruits. In the rush of our daily activities we have forgotten to use good language and thus our language has become polluted. If good language needs to be preserved then books like this must come into the market”, he said.

Harish P B, President of DK district Working Journalists Union, said: “Even amidst tight schedule Hamza has found time to write a book. This shows his true talent.”

B. A. Akbar Ali, Treasurer, Al Wafa Charitable Trust was also present.
