Hamco Atlantis launched

Mangalore, May 28: Hamco Atlantis, the new project of Hamco Builders and Developers, was formally launched on Sunday by Mangalore MLA U T Khader.

In a formal function, project brochure was released Aslam Khan, Managing Director, Reliable Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, Mumbai. The official website of Hamco was launched by Bazil D'Souza, President, Ullal Municipal.

Chandrahas Ullal and Abubakker Natekal were guests of honour. G Mustafa, Director, Hamco Builders, Mohammed Haneef, Director, Hamco Builders, G Shabeer, Director, Shalimar Builders and G Mehboob, Director, GM Homes and Infrastructure were also present on the occasion.

Mangaluru, Apr 1: Dakshina Kannada District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Tuesday announced that essential shops including grocery stores, fruits and vegetable shops will be allowed to open from Wednesday between 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs across the district.

Speaking at a press conference, he said that Milk, Medical, Gas distribution, Petrol Bunks, Banks will be opened as usual, he informed adding that Central Market and the Suratkal Market will remain closed.

With the Dakshin Kannada district administration relaxing the lockdown from 0600 hrs to 1500 hrs to purchase essential commodities, panic-stricken citizens rushed to the shops early in the morning itself.

Mangaluru, Mar 29: The test report of the man from Uppoor in Udupi district, who committed suicide fearing he had contracted coronavirus infection, has returned negative for the virus.

Health department officials in Udupi said the post- mortem test report had shown that he did not have the virus infection and asked the people in the area not to panic.

Gopalakrishna Madivala (56), had hanged himself on Wednesday suspecting he had the disease, leaving a death note to family members asking them to stay safe.

Mangaluru, Jul 4: In the wake of mounting coronavirus cases in Dakshina Kannada, all jewellery shops district will be closed for five days from July 5 to July 9.

The decision was taken by the Dakshina Kannada district unit of Jewellers’ Association.

All the jewellery shops including corporate jewellery shops in Manglauru and other parts of district will remain closed for five days, a media release said.
