Mangalore, June 10: Poll results will be in favour of the BJP and the outcome would be better than previous elections said Capt. Ganesh Karnik, BJP's MLC candidate for the South-West Graduates Constituency.

Speaking to Coastaldigest.com after casting his vote at the city's Government College polling booth, Mr. Karnik said that the voter turnout has been encouraging.

Expressing confidence that both he as well as D H Shankaramurthy will emerge victorious, Mr. Karnik said that the duo has a good track record which the voters are aware of.

The political turmoil that the BJP led government has been associated with of late, will not have an impact on the outcome of the polls, he said.

Stating that the Congress has fielded a clean candidate in S P Dinesh, Mr. Khader said that the party is confident of a good show in the polls.
