OneCity Yellow Pages 2012-13 launched

Mangalore, June 29: The OneCity Yellow Pages for the year 2012-13, published by OneCity Media Pvt Ltd, was launched on Friday.

D Dharmaiah, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mangalore City Commissionerate, formally released the directory at a press conference at Patrika Bhavan in the city.

L K Monu Borkala and SL Basheer, both directors of the firm were present on the occasion.

The company has been successfully publishing Yellow Pages directories and the latest is the sixth edition for Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

The directory incorporates several user-friendly features like multi-colour Yellow Pages with information on dining, entertainment, leisure, tourist needs, education, personal finance and insurance, automobiles, real estate, beauty and health etc.

OneCity Yellow Pages contains over 35,000 businesses in different categories. It is user-friendly fast-find index to locate any product or service, said the directors.

OneCity Media will distribute the directories free of cost to all the businesses in Mangalore, Udupi, Puttur and some parts of Kasargod. Also, the directories can be collected from our office, they said.

Mangaluru, Feb 15: Dense fog formation and poor visibility at the runway forced to delay and diversions of some flights arriving and take off at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Saturday.

Flights take off and landings were suspended from 0700 hours am to 1030 hours.

Many flights to land in the morning were diverted.

Mangaluru, Mar 29: Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Limited in a statement announced that their milk collection centres across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will be closed on March 29 and 30.

Due to a shortage of storage space with them, the Union has decided to stop collecting milk on these two days, according to the statement issued here on Saturday.

The sale/retail of milk and milk products won’t be affected in these two days.

Bengaluru, May 29: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel will resolve any differences of opinion among party leaders in Karnataka, according to Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi

If anybody has any issues, they should get them resolved by talking with Yediyurappa and Kateel. Internal matters, if any, should not be discussed in public, he said.

Angadi told reporters here on Friday that differences of opinion among party leaders have not come to his notice. A section of party leaders assembling for dinner should not be constituted as a meeting of dissidents. BJP has internal democracy and any differences of opinion if exist will be resolved at the party forum.

He added that if MLA Umesh Katti has any issues regarding cabinet berth or regarding assurances given to him by Yediyurappa during the Lok Sabha elections, he should talk with the chief minister.

Everyone in politics has aspirations and it's natural. Those aspiring for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections should talk with the chief minister or the state president, he said.

Ramesh Katti was former MP and there was nothing wrong in him being aspirant for Rajya Sabha elections, he said.

Angadi said, "Party is supreme. We shall work for the victory of party candidates irrespective of who they were".

A state cabinet meeting was held on Thursday. Many of the MLAs too had been to Bengaluru for constituency-related works. As they had been meeting after a long time, all gathered for dinner, he expressed.
