Mangalore, August 16: Department of Kannada and Culture, Dakshina Kannada, in association with Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education, Mangalore, will be conducting 'Dance Sangama' on August 18 at 5 p.m. at 'Sandesha Kalabhavan', Bajjodi, Mangalore, said Vani Rajgopal, co-ordinator of the programme.
Speaking at a press meet on Thursday, she said that dance artistes Sweekruth Bengaluru, Vani Rajgopal and Mary Bini will perform the dance forms of Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Mohiniattam respectively at the programme.
Dr. Mohan Alva, Founder and Chairman of Alva's Educational Foundation, Moodbidri, will be the chief guest on the occasion and Dr. Henry D'souza, Bishop of Bellary and Chairman of Sandesha Foundation will preside, she said.
Victor Vijay Lobo, Director of Sandesha Foundation, was present on the occasion.
