Mangalore, August 17: "A recent survey and study report had revealed that only 10% of engineering graduates in the state are employable and the rest fail to meet the employment criteria because of of suitable training facilities which is alarming," said Dr B Devdas Rai, Rotary Dist Governor.
He was addressing final year engineering students after inaugurating 'How to face college campus interviews? - HR round, organized by Campus Interview Training Solutions here on Wednesday.
"Students should develop confidence and competence for enhanced performance. It is therefore imperative that students should attend this type of training session to gain skills and engage themselves to face the campus interview," he added.
Sureshchandra Shetty, president of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central said training workshop had been organized as part of their vocational service project activities and urged students keep pace with the trends. About 350 students from17 engineering colleges took part in the event.
