Eid Prayer timings in DK and Udupi

masjidMangalore, October 25: Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Friday in coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi. Arrangements for Eid prayers and Qutba have been made in all prominent Masjids and Eidgahs.

 

Following are the timings of Eid prayers in different parts of the coastal districts:

 

Bavutagudde Eidgah Masjid: 8:00 a.m. Mangalore Qazi Thwaka Ahmed Musliyar will lead the prayers.

 

Ullal Central Juma Masjid: 9:00 a.m. Abdur Rauf Musliyar, Khateeb of the Masjid, will lead the prayers.


Masjidun Noor, Hampankatta: 8:30 a.m. Moulvi Abdul Azeez will lead the prayers.


Taqwa Masjid, Pumpwell:  8:30 a.m. Abdul Rahman Saqafi will lead the prayers.


Kachchi Memon Masjid, Bunder: 9:00 a.m. Moulana Mohammed Ali will lead the prayers.


Anas Bin Malik Juma Masjid, Bengre: 7:40 a.m. Zakir TP will lead the prayers.


Bolar Masjid: 8:30 a.m. BK Ilyas Bakhavi will lead the prayers.


Surathkal: Muhiyuddin Eidgah Juma Masjid: 8:30 a.m; Muhiyuddin Juma Masjid: 9:00 a.m.


Thokkottu: 7:45 a.m. at Masjid-ul-Huda Juma Masjid.


Bolangady: 8:30 a.m at Havva Juma Masjid


Krishnapura: 7:40 a.m. at Asthal Masjid


Uppinangady: 8:00 a.m. at Huda Masjid


Katipalla: 8:30 a.m. at Eidgah Maidan


Vittla: 7:30 a.m. at Neerkaje Masjid


Moodabidri: 7:45 a.m. at Al Furqan Centre


Udupi: 8 a.m. at Udupi Jamia Masjid


Indrali: 7:45 a.m. at Noorani Masjid


Katpady: 9:00 a.m. at Juma Masjid


Kapu: 8:00 a.m. at Kombugudde Jamia Masjid


Malpe: 8:30 a.m. at Aboobakkar Siddique Masjid and Madina Masjid


Udyavara: 8:00 a.m. at Jamia Masjid


Padubidri: 9:00 a.m. at Juma Masjid

Mysore,  Apr 1: A team of the state Health Ministry on Monday visited the pharmaceuticals company whose several employees were tested positive for COVID-19.

The team asked the remaining employees to stay under quarantine in separate rooms.

"The department is investigating whether this company has got any connection with China or received any object which might have brought coronavirus with it," said Jawaid Akhtar, principal secretary of the health department.

Karnataka Health Minister on Wednesday confirmed that the current COVID-19 positive cases in the state stood at 101.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases have reached 1,637 in India, including 1,466 active cases, 133 cured/discharged/migrated people and 38 deaths.

Bengaluru, Mar 29: Escoms have been directed neither to penalise its customers nor go for disconnection if one fails to pay the bill. The relief is applicable till June. However, the entire bill will have to be paid at the end of three months.

The revised power tariff, which was to be announced on April 1, has also been deferred.

A similar three-month relief has been given on rentals for APMC and BBMP shops.

Udupi, Jul 8: A 15-year-old boy belonging to Saligrama in Udupi district, who was under home quarantine with his mother, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself yesterday.

His throat swabs were sent for testing. The report received today and it showed that he did not have coronavirus.
 
The boy, a class ten student studying in Kota, was quarantined along with his mother at home after a person in a family, where she was working as a maid tested positive for Covid-19.

The boy is suspected to have taken the extreme step out of depression as he was not allowed to go out. The last rites were held today.
