Mangalore, November 17: The final contingent of Hajj pilgrims that had left from Mangalore, returned on Friday.
The fifth and final contingent came back from the Hajj journey at landed at Mangalore International Airport at 9:40 am on Friday.
MM Ahmed, President, State Hajj Committee, Yenepoya Mohammed Kunhi, President, Mangalore Hajj Camp Managing Committee, Vice President Aziz Baikampady, Usman Haji, President, DK district Wakf Advisory Committee, welcomed the pilgrims.
Although the first group of Hajj pilgrims returned late, the other teams have returned before schedule. Every Haji was allowed to bring 10 litres of Zam Zam water along, this time.
Of the couple who got married during the Hajj journey, the bride returned home in the second group while the groom Mohammed Ashraf Bolanthur returned in the fifth contingent.
