Mangalore, December 17: The Mangalore branch of Ramakrishna Mission will be organising all Karnataka youth convention, at Sanghanikethana in the city on December 22 and 23.
The event is being held as part of 150th birth anniversary of Swamy Vivekananda said Dr Jeevraj Sorake, honorary secretary of convention committee at a press meet here on Monday.
Chief pontiff of Pejawar Mutt Vishwshwatheertha swamiji will inaugurate the two-day convention, in which Belur Mutt pontiff Swamy Vishwathnanandaji Maharaj, former Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde, and Nitte University Chancellor Dr N Vinay Hegde will take part among others, said Mr Sorake.
He said the convention will shed light on the importance youth force, which according to Swamy Vivekananda, take the country towards the path of progress.
Santosh Hegde, who also a part of anti-corruption movement in India will deliver a talk on 'Corruption free India—role of youth,' he said.
