Directed by Kasargod Chinna, president, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, the film was shot at various locations in Karkala in Udupi district and in Goa.
The film produced at a cost of Rs 40 lakh has so far been screened in theatres in Mangalore, Karkala, Bangalore and Goa apart from other places. "The film has been a loss making venture and we have not even recovered the investment on the same," said Anuradha Padiyar, one of the producers along with KJ Dhananjaya.
"Its selection for an international festival, 1-1/2 years after its initial release to the market however is a matter of satisfaction," she noted.
