Mangalore, December 28: The campaign demanding the release of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Ma'adani, presently lodged in a jail in Bangalore in connection with the 2008 serial blasts case, is slowly gaining strength with various forums coming out urging his release.
Under the slogan “Save Ma'adani” a 'human right convention' will be organised on December 31 at 2 p.m. at Shaheed-e-Iraq Saddam Hussain Nagar at Udayavara-Mada, near here.
Karnataka Muslim Samyuktha Vedike President S M Basheer will be presiding over the function while Belapu Deviprasad Shetty will inaugurate the function.
Maharashtra Human Right Activist Moulana Hafiz Sadiq Muballig will be the main speaker.
MLAs P B Abdurrazaq, U T Khader, political leader T M Shaheed, Swami Varkalaraja, C H Kunjambu, B V Rajan, Harshad Varkady, Zubair Sabahi, M Rizwan Bappanadu, Muslim league National Secretary Fakruddeen, Karnataka Justice Forum President Siddiq Bantwal, General Secretary Ismath Pajeer, M S M Abdul Rasheed Zaini Kamil Saqafi, Umarul Farooq and other will be participating in the convention.
