Kannangar Welfare Association annual general meeting held

Al-Jubail, March 26: Kannangar Welfare Association (KWA) Jubail-Dammam, organised their annual general gathering at Cookxone banquet hall, here recently.

Addressing the gathering, chief guest of the function Haneef Saadi, appreciated the contributions of KWA for the upliftment of the poor in the kannangar region. He stressed the power of unity.

The president Riyaz Safa briefed the audience about the activities of KWA during the current year 2011-2012 and the plans for next year.

General Secretary Hassan Pandith presented the annual report and financial report.

Meeting started with recitation of holy Quran by Abdul Rahman Bright. Haneef Saadi performed the dua and honored by the committee members. Mohammed Ashraf Belief, Sarfraz Real Tech, Riyaz Safa, Javed Nexus, Noor Mohammed were the guest of honor. Jamal Swalih welcomed.

Later, Ashraf Belief conducted the new committee selection procedure. Azeez SS Road proposed vote of thanks. Shareef Belief compered the programme.

Dubai, May 20: Dubai-based Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club’s humanitarian services in charge Naseer Karaje team have appreciated the efforts of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru Airport director, NGOs of Mangaluru, and MLA for extending a royal welcome to second batch of repatriates from Dubai that landed at Mangaluru Airport on May 18.

There was so much of confusions when 1st batch of repatriation flight landed in Mangaluru airport on 12th May due to lack of proper arrangements and co ordination.

This time due to proper arrangements and special supervision by the DC everything was driven smoothly. It has given a confidence to all the Manglurean expats of Dubai in returning to their native places, the KSCC said.

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.
