Expertise Jubail win Panorama-Expertise Cup-2012

Dammam, April 3: Expertise Jubail won the Panorama-Expertise Cup 2012 organized by Panorama-Dammam unit on recently at Rakha Ground, here.

As many as 16 teams participated in the 10 overs knockout tournament. They are: Khobar United, Zamil Industrial, SAB Warriors, ICC, Corniche Blue, AlAnwar, AlFalah, Eastern Blue, AMACO, NGC, Realtech, Expertise, SAB ME, KFC and Aman Friends.

Panorama organized this tournament in a professional manner with the support of lots of donors and cricket lovers for charity.

Mr. Xavier Mathias from Saudi Master Baker Ltd sponsored cakes and bakery items throughout the tournament and in addition, Abuljadayel Beverages Inc energized the players and spectator with buzzy energy drinks along with Al Gosaibi-NBC who quenched the thirst of people with Pepsi and 7up.

In the final match, Expertise defeated Khobar United by 22 runs. Expertise batted first and scored 80 runs for 6 wickets with the excellent partnership between Nuwan 28 runs and Zubair 27 runs and for United khobar Aktar took 2 wickets for 17 runs. Khobar united unable to reach the target against brilliant bowling of expertise and lost the hopes after the dismissal of Aktar 14runs (6 balls) and satisfied with 58 runs for 4 wickets.

Earlier in first semis, Khobar united outplayed Sab Warriors by 26 runs. Khobar united batted first and scored 124/7 with the help of 25 each by Tawfiq and Naveed and dashing 22runs (5balls) by Aktar. Sajeev is the only successive bowler for SAB took 3 wickets. In reply Javed scored 21 runs and all the other batsman of SAB throw the wickets and completed the innings 98 runs for 9wkts. Wakas took 3wkts and Usman 2wkts for United Khobar.

In the other semis, Expertise defeated KFC by 15 runs. Expertise bat first and scored 94 runs for the loss of 7 wickets with Rajeev's splendid knock of 24 runs and Rozan tooks 3wkts for KFC. But KFC unable to reach the target and scored only 79runs/7kts with Muzair 25 runs and Zubair bowled economically and took 2 wickets for 7 runs.

Aktar from United Khobar awarded as man of the tournament and best bowler along with three man of the match award for his best performance in knockout matches. Best batsman award was bagged by Shoaib from Expertise for his consistence batting performance.

The grand event concluded by the Raffle of 42" LCD TV Mega prize that was bagged by United Khobar and another 42" LCD won by Sandeep. In spite of the bad weather Panorama organized the tournament successfully by the support of volunteers, players and spectators.

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.

Mangaluru, May 22: An elderly cardiac patient from Dakshina Kannada, who was stranded in Saudi Arabia due to covid-19 lock-down, has finally reached his homeland thanks to the timely intervention by Humanity Forum Jubail and Indian Social Forum.

The elderly man hailing from Kadaba area of Dakshina Kannada was admitted to a hospital in Madinah. However, his condition continued to worsen due to lack of proper treatment. The efforts by his family members to bring him back home had not yielded results.

Meanwhile, one of the relatives of the patient, Ansari Suratkal, who happens to be a DKSC activist, brought the issue to the notice of the Karnataka unit of the Indian Social Forum in Dammam. ISF contacted Humanity Forum president Zakariya Jokatte, who helped the patient to speak directly union minister D V Sadananda Gowda in a video conference organised by coastaldigest.com.

Humanity Forum also persuaded the Indian Embassy to allow the stranded cardiac patient to fly back to India through Dammam-Bengaluru repatriation flight on May 20. 

However, it was not easy for the patient to travel from Madinah to Dammam International Airport due to lock-down and curfew. ISF not only obtained travel permission for him but also arranged vehicle. Jeddah and Riyadh units of ISF helped in obtaining permission letter in their respective places in spite of travel ban imposed by the police. Madinah unit of ISF arranged vehicle for transportation. Zakariya Jokatte bore the air ticket and other expenses of the patient.

Dammam: President of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Mr.Wasim Rabbani urged immediate intervention of Indian government to help Non Residential Indians who are in trouble due to corona pandemic in Saudi Arabia.

He said in a press rease that expatriate Indians are in concern  as number of corona infected people and  deaths are increasing in danger level.

Hea said, "the Saudi health minister's statement a few days ago indicates that the situation in Saudi needs to be taken more seriously with precautionary methods. There are concerns among expatriates because the number of people infected with the coronavirus and the number of deaths reported in various provinces are increasing at an alarming rate."

"Saudi Government and Health Ministry are taking excellent precautionary measures, however, in the coming days expect to see the number of cases to increase in Saudi Arabia. The Indian government needs to take diplomatic and immediate intervention to ensure the treatment of Indian expatriates considering the number of effected people increasing", He said.

He also urged that the Embassy and the Government of India should ensure qaurantiane faculty for Indian expatriates and arrange special low cost flights to bring back expatriates who would like to return home country.

" Government of India and Indian embassy need to intervene immediately to ensure that the quarantine system is in place for Indian expatriates as the facilities in the rooms where the residents are staying together are very limited. There should also be a mechanism to organize low-cost flight services for expatriates who are ready to go home. The government system should also be able to accommodate the expatriates in special quarantine areas in hometown as soon they arrive in India", he urged.
