Saudi Arabia: IFF helps stranded Joseph to return home

Riyadh, April 9: India Fraternity forum (IFF) Riyadh and Buraida chapter lent a helping hand to stranded Joseph D’souza Kundapur to reach his home country.

Three years ago, Joseph D’souza arrived in an agreement visa for a company based in Al Qassim City (South Province of Saudi Arabia). Joseph’s Family resided in a small town called Emmady a part of North Karnataka’s province.

After completing a year in his job, Joseph had to struggle to receive his salaries. When he completed two years in the company, company was liable totally seven months' salary for Joseph. Joseph’s family is just depended on whatever Joseph is sending money for routine bread.

This entire situation forced Joseph to abscond from his sponsor for work outside in order to feed his family.

A year after his absconding, Joseph appeared before sponsor and requested for passport to return India. However, his sponsor filed a case against Joseph for absconding and handed over passport to the court. The court penalized Joseph to pay SR. 2,700/- (approximately Rs 40,000) for absconding.

In this situation, Joseph approached IFF activists for assistance. IFF activists Abdul Rawoof, Ayaz Krishnapur, Abdul Rasheed, Ishaq Venoor and Usman Kunjattoor attended several meeting with Joseph’s sponsor and lawyers to solve the issue. Also, the Karavali (an NRI organization) financially supported to Joseph and cooperated with IFF to win this case.

ISF holds Republic Day in Dammam

Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee, Saudi Arabia organized Republic Day program at AlRyan Policlinic Restaurant Auditorium, Dammam on 25th January 2020.

Abdul Waris, Former Chairman of Indian International School Dammam Inaugurated the program.

Wasim Rabbani, president of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee Presided over the program.

Mansoor Shah KFUPM, Indian Social Forum Delhi Zone President, Dr. Fayaz Ahmed from King Fahad University Hospital, Amir Moulavi, Executive Member, India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Dammam, Nasir Koduvalli, Indian Social Forum, Kerala State President, Dammam, Sharief, Social Forum Karnataka State President, DammamJahangir Moulavi, Tamilnadu State president delivered speech at the program. Mohammed Firoz, Indian Social Forum President, Jubail read the preamble of constitution.

Nameer Kerala , Secretary, Social Forum Central Committee welcomed guests while Ashraf Karnataka, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered vote of thanks and Tahir Hyderabad, Secretary, Indian Social Forum, Central Committee coordinated the program.

Jals-e-Uchila get-together held in Dammam

Markaz Al Madeena Association, Eastern province, conducted JALS-E-UCHILA get together program at Dammam, Saudi Arabia on March 5,2020 on account of celebrating 28 years of social service dedicated by the organization.

The event chairman Noushad Uchil inaugurated the function. The organization president presided the program and delivered talk about the intention of the organization. Hashim Uchil has intorduced the social and academic contribution of the organization of past 28 years. Jamal Uchil welcomed the gathering and Ismail G.I. host the program.

Games, Quiz and prize distribution to the winners and senior social workers was the special attraction of the event. The planning committee of the event includes Iqbal, Farooq, Shahul Hameed, Ramza, Nabeel, Afthar, Ashraf and Shafi.

Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurates campaign for 20th ‘Learn the Qur'an’ conference

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.
