IFF holds health seminars in Khobar and Jubail

Dammam, June 12: India Fraternity Forum, as part of its two week long health campaign organised three separate health seminars in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

' in Khobar @ Rafa Medical Center Auditorium and in Jubail @ Cookxon Auditorium.

All three seminars were conducted on the same day - two for men in Khobar and Jubail and one for women in Jubail.

Dr. Prashanth, General Practitioner, Khobar and Dr. G. Shivarudrappa briefly explained about the different aspects like hypertension, diabetics, cholesterol and heart attack in Khobar and Jubail respectively.

Both of them provided information and instructions to keep the health free from deceases. There was a question and answer session in which both doctors answered all questions from the audience.

Three doctors Dr. Rizwana, Gynecologist, Dr. Ayisha, General Practioner and Dr. Shahida, Ophthalmologist were participated in Ladies health seminar, Jubail.

They shed light on deceases related to ladies like diabetics, blood pressure, breast cancer, eye problems, delivery problems and precautions for these decreases with a help of a beautiful presentation. In question and answer session doctors have cleared the doubts and queries from the women, who participated in the programme in an overwhelming number.

Imthiaz presented a memento to Dr. Prashanth in Khobar while Abu Salih presented a memento to Dr. G. Shivarudrappa in Jubail. Shireen Imthiaz presented the memento to Dr. Rizwana, Dr. Ayisha and Dr. Shahida.

The programmes commenced with the recitation of Qira'th by Bashir in Khobar, Khader in Jubail and Misriya Siddiq in women’s program at Jubail.

Sherief of Khobar and Abubakkar Siddiq of Jubail welcomed the gathering and presented brief introduction to the program while Naushida Mustafa of Jubail welcomed the gathering and gave brief introduction to the women’s seminar. Abdussuban of Khobar, Rahim of Jubail and Nafeesa Abusali of Jubail presented the vote of thanks.

The event was anchored by Rafiq in Khobar, Samith in Jubail and Shahnas Ashraf in ladies program in Jubail. IFF volunteers facilitated the smooth conducting of the events with impressive assistance.

Around 350 people including ladies took advantage of the program in Khobar and Jubail.

Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee, Saudi Arabia organized Republic Day program at AlRyan Policlinic Restaurant Auditorium, Dammam on 25th January 2020.

Abdul Waris, Former Chairman of Indian International School Dammam Inaugurated the program.

Wasim Rabbani, president of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee Presided over the program.

Mansoor Shah KFUPM, Indian Social Forum Delhi Zone President, Dr. Fayaz Ahmed from King Fahad University Hospital, Amir Moulavi, Executive Member,  India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Dammam, Nasir Koduvalli, Indian Social Forum, Kerala State President, Dammam, Sharief, Social Forum Karnataka State President, DammamJahangir Moulavi, Tamilnadu State president delivered speech at the program. Mohammed Firoz, Indian Social Forum  President, Jubail read the preamble of constitution. 

 Nameer Kerala , Secretary, Social Forum Central Committee welcomed guests while Ashraf Karnataka, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered vote of thanks and Tahir Hyderabad, Secretary, Indian Social Forum, Central Committee coordinated the program.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organized Blood Donation Camp at Latifa Hospital, Oud Mehta Dubai on April 23rd, 2020 in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and with support from Community Development Authority (CDA) Government of Dubai.

Blood Donation Drive started in the morning at 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Around 48 people participated in this drive and donated blood to support the Dubai Blood Bank.

A potential shortage of blood for transfusions has been occurred due to a significant reduction in voluntary blood donations during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current pandemic, health services are now running with shortages of blood availability. To support the DHA Blood Bank KSCC taken initiative to ensure that blood donations continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.

After taking safety precaution and safe distance during the blood donation donors feeling happy and honored to participate and donate blood at this pandemic situation. Club Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi was also present during this event.

KSCC appreciated all the blood donors and be grateful to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Community Development Authority (CDA), and Government of Dubai for their association for this event. They also thanked the volunteers and supporters.

Dubai, Aug 7: ‘Nama Tuluve’ Purushotham Salian, a staunch stalwart who always supported humanity and a strong pillar for Tuluvas in Dubai, passed away August, 4 at Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain. He was suffering from cancer and was admitted to Al Tawam Hospital Al Ain some time ago. He was on the last stage of illness which was not detected earlier.

His funeral last rites were conducted on Thursday August 7 at Jebel Ali cemetery in Hindu rites with a few of his family members present. Due to Covid pandemic, neither his body was able to be flown back to hometown nor could his two children come down to attend the funeral. However, it was said that his wish was to be cremated here in Dubai which unknowingly sometime back he whispered to one of his friends.

Purushotham had few years ago, survived a heart attack and fought back his life, though it had a minor paralytic effect on him. Even though, till recently he used to do his day-to-day work normally. He was a hard working personality and owned a readymade garment shop in Ajman and Dubai mostly taking care of clients with requirement of uniforms and coveralls. His dedication towards work was always appreciated by his clients who used to get their things delivered on time always.

He was never a publicity person and was helping the poor and needy in whatever ways he could silently. He strongly supported the community and was associated with Nama Tuluveru and Billawa community with commitment. He used to voluntarily come forward for the ground work of various functions of the community and used to be there until it was done perfectly.
