Karnataka Salafi Association organises ‘Eid Meet-2012’

Dammam, October 30: Karnataka Salafi Association (KSA), Dammam-Khobar unit organized ‘Eid Meet-2012’ with a variety of colorful programmes specially for children and students of the KSA Madrassa at Dammam KSA Centre on account of Eid-ul-Adha.

The children have showed their various talents and skills through several activities like Islamic speeches, reciting of Qur’aan, Quiz, skit etc. Various outdoor games including tug-of-war, race with lemon-spoon in the mouth, running race etc. were also conducted for both girls and boys. Ladies were also given opportunities to hone their talents through various Islamic contests. All winners and other participants were given prizes.

Karnataka Salafi Association Daee S.M. Abdul Majeed addressed the audience by highlighting the importance of the Eid and Hajj. M.H. Hameed Mulky spoke on the occasion. Basheer Sagar highlighted the successful running of Madrassa in Dammam, where a large number of Manglorean-students are studying. He said Dammam was lacking the schooling for religious study as they had to commute to all the way from Dammam to Khobar and vice versa. “Now with the opening of the religious education in Dammam, it helped a lot for the students and parents, who are residing in the region, he opined.

Mr. Hassan Bawa Suralpady, Ismail Mangalore (Saudi Catering), Anwar Sadath and others were present on the occasion.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.

Dubai, May 20: Dubai-based Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club’s humanitarian services in charge Naseer Karaje team have appreciated the efforts of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru Airport director, NGOs of Mangaluru, and MLA for extending a royal welcome to second batch of repatriates from Dubai that landed at Mangaluru Airport on May 18.

There was so much of confusions when 1st batch of repatriation flight landed in Mangaluru airport on 12th May due to lack of proper arrangements and co ordination.

This time due to proper arrangements and special supervision by the DC everything was driven smoothly. It has given a confidence to all the Manglurean expats of Dubai in returning to their native places, the KSCC said.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) organized Blood Donation Camp at Latifa Hospital, Oud Mehta Dubai on April 23rd, 2020 in association with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and with support from Community Development Authority (CDA) Government of Dubai.

Blood Donation Drive started in the morning at 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Around 48 people participated in this drive and donated blood to support the Dubai Blood Bank.

A potential shortage of blood for transfusions has been occurred due to a significant reduction in voluntary blood donations during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current pandemic, health services are now running with shortages of blood availability. To support the DHA Blood Bank KSCC taken initiative to ensure that blood donations continued and are safe for both the donor and the recipient.

After taking safety precaution and safe distance during the blood donation donors feeling happy and honored to participate and donate blood at this pandemic situation. Club Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi was also present during this event.

KSCC appreciated all the blood donors and be grateful to Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Community Development Authority (CDA), and Government of Dubai for their association for this event. They also thanked the volunteers and supporters.
