IFF Dammam holds awareness programme on Babri Masjid

Dammam, December 24: The Dammam chapter of India Fraternity Forum organized a public programme as part of the awareness campaign to mark the 20th anniversary of “Babri Masjid” demolition with slogan “Lest we forgot Babri Musjid” at  Al-Nahda club auditorium - Rakka, situated in Dammam-Khobar highway.

 

Speeches were delivered in Urdu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The programme was presided over by Moosa Kutty from Kerala.

 

Mohammed Waheed from Andhra Pradesh delivered introductory remarks in Urdu explaining the purpose of the event.

 

Amer from Uttar Pradesh alleged that Indian courts of practicing discriminations against minority communities, especially against Muslims. He called upon all Indians to fight for the cause of reconstruction of Babri Masjid.

 

Saleem from Karnataka explained how Indian Muslims should be united and empowered, and also he insisted that now Muslims should start thinking differently on “positive approach” than negative.

 

Nazar from Kerala stated the historical facts behind Babri Masjid. He reminded the major role of Muslims during the freedom struggle against British monarchy.

 

Tamil speaker, Jahangir Aroosi said that Babri Masjid was demolished based on a myth.

 

Faisal in his valedictory message pledged that this message will endlessly be forwarded to generations ahead. Abdullah Ali proposed vote of thanks.  Sibagatullah from Uttar Pradesh recited the verses of holy Quran in the beginning.

 

The organisers had arranged a signature on Canvass campaign at the end of the event. A huge paper scroll with memorable pictures of Babri Masjid with various slogans was mounted on the side walls of the event hall.

 

All the participants registered their feelings and emotions on Babri Masjid in the signature scroll. There were stalls displaying books, CDs in different Indian languages to remind the memories of Babri Masjid.

Kuwait City, Aug 9: Indian social forum organised Blood Donation Camp in association with central blood bank kuwait on Friday, 7th August 2020.

The forum organised camp to support the high demand of blood in the context of COVID-19.

All arrangements to maintain COVID-19 protocol were made in the camp including segregation of donors as branch wise batches along with strict safety measures of participants.

Forum also had donated blood to many patients during the lockdown period. 

Hundreds of people donated blood in the camp. The camp organised in Blood Bank, Jabriya was successfully managed by Dr. Asma Rafat and leaders of Indian social forum Vice President Aslam, Secretory Sayyid Bukhari Thangal, Moideen Koya, Khaleel, Aseem, Mohammed Sha, Shihab, Naushad,
Indian Social Forum expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the doctors, staff and management of blood bank, forum’s members and donors.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.

Kuwait: Eid is usually a time of family get-togethers and feasts after weeks of dawn-to-dusk fasting. But this year people celebrated at home, with virus fears dampening the holiday spirit and strict restrictions in place.

Kuwait went under full curfew before the start of Ramadan leaving people to practice fasting and Ramadan rituals at home, Even Eid al-Fitr came under full lock-down period.

As situation demanded, IMA Kuwait celebrated the Eid Get-together online via video conferencing tool, All IMA members participated joyfully in Eid Milan online gathering which was scheduled immediately after Eid prayer. Members participated and congratulated each other on the eve of Eid.

The IMA president Shamvel Parviz addressed the gathering and thanked them for joining online for this unique Eid celebration which will be remembered in history. He also advised members to be aware of conditions of neighbors, friends and family and assist them if they need help in this difficult time.

Eid al-Fitr follows weeks of fasting and marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Thousands of Muslims all over Kuwait followed strict guideline and performed Eid prayer at home along with their family.

As a part of social service activities IMA also distributed ration kits before start of Ramadan and during Ramadan for needy people all over Kuwait.
