IFF Eastern Province’s ‘Seerathunnabi’ campaign kicks off at Al-Hasa

Dammam, Jan 29: Muslims should unite forgetting internal differences within the community  and fight for the rights of the human beings, said Haris Malar, President of Al-Hasa IFF Unit.

He was speaking after inaugurating two week long ‘Seerathunnabi’  campaign organised by India Fraternity Forum. The programme was held at Istra Maliki, Al-Hasa . The programme mainly subjected to “Role Model of Prophet Muhammad”.

Speaking on the occasion A M Arif stressed on the fact that Prophet Muhammad was sent not only to Muslims but for entire mankind by quoting different Quran verses and Hadith. For present scenario, Prophet’s message of humanity such as struggles, political awareness and social changes are ideal to whole community and the global world, he added.

Abdul Razak Permude and Nasir Kudroli were chief guest of the inaugural event. The programme attracted a large number of people. Earlier, Ashfaq welcomed the gathering. Vote of thanks was given by Mr.Abdul Kader Maravoor. The Programme was compered by Mohammed Siddakatte.

As a part of Two week long campaign, IFF Eastern Province will be organizing parallel programs in Dammam and Jubail as well.

The Overseas Indian Cultural Congress (OICC), Bahrain, has charted aircrafts to repatriate stranded expatriates to India. 

Boby Parayil, General Secretary, OICC National Committee, Bahrain has thanked all those who supported in this cause.

“The aircrafts were not licensed and were in crisis until the last minute. Finally, Mohammed Mansoor, president of Bahrain chapter of Indian Overseas Congress approached IOC Middle East in charge Dr Arathi Krishna, who helped get permission to operate flight to Kozhikode,” he said in a release. 

All mandatory approvals from the Foreign Ministry of Affairs and other government officials were accomplished by Dr Arathi Krishna. OICC has expressed gratitude to her for her timely support, he said. 

OICC is also grateful to former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy for doing necessary arrangements to get all the approvals for flight landing in Kerala, he added.
