Karnataka Forum to host Volley Ball Tourney

Qatar, Jan 30: South Kanara Muslim Welfare Association (SKMWA) an affiliated body under Indian Cultural Center (ICC) is all set to host 2nd Volley Ball tournament at old Ideal Indian School group, Salwa Road.skmwa

The vice President of Indian School Syed Abdul Hye will officially inaugurate the tourney on 31st Jan 2013 at 6.30PM.

Total 8 prominent teams at Qatar will participate in this two day sports event including host SKMWA, Tulu Koota Qatar, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, HSC, ATS, INCAS, QJC and F. Lounge.

The inaugural match will be played between ATS v/s INCAS. The finals will be played in the same ground on February 1 2013 in the evening.

The Management Committee of SKMWA has appealed all the volley ball lovers at Qatar to witness this sportive game.

Riyadh, Feb 24: Indian Islahi Center, Riyadh (IICR) kicked off the propagation campaign of "Learn the Quran" national conference, which is slated to be held on March 27, 2020 at Nofa Istiraha, Exit 18, Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. It's IICR's 20th successful program.

Kerala Legislative Assembly's opposition leader & Congress leader, Ramesh Chennitthala inaugurated the campaign that was held at Voco Hotel in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ramesh was on two days visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the campaign is to instil the keenness & to keep creating the continuous awareness amongst the community on Quran. It also enables to recite the Quran with Tajweed (science of reading the Quran) & correct form.

Aboobakker Edthanatukkara (President of IICR), Abdul Qayyum Bustani, Kunhi Kumbala, Abdullah Vallanchira, Adv. Abdul Jaleel, Naushad Ali Kozhikode, Mujeeb Ali Thodigappulam, Muhammad Kutty Kadannamanna, Fasal Rahman City Flower, Mujeeb Irumbuzhi, Jaleel Alappuzha, Arafat & others were present on the occasion.

Dubai, Aug 6: Non-resident Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist Dewakara Alva passed away on Thursday August 6. He was 63.

Alva, who hailed from Mangaluru, was the director of Federal Insurance Brokers LLC, Dubai and was residing in Dubai for around four decades. He was reportedly suffering from health problems for last few months. 

He was a patron of Tulu and Kannada language and culture in United Arab Emirates. He was a member of various NRI organizations including UAE Tulu Koota and UAE Bunts

Alva is survived by wife Saritha, daughter Powshali, and son Manal.

Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee, Saudi Arabia organized Republic Day program at AlRyan Policlinic Restaurant Auditorium, Dammam on 25th January 2020.

Abdul Waris, Former Chairman of Indian International School Dammam Inaugurated the program.

Wasim Rabbani, president of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee Presided over the program.

Mansoor Shah KFUPM, Indian Social Forum Delhi Zone President, Dr. Fayaz Ahmed from King Fahad University Hospital, Amir Moulavi, Executive Member,  India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Dammam, Nasir Koduvalli, Indian Social Forum, Kerala State President, Dammam, Sharief, Social Forum Karnataka State President, DammamJahangir Moulavi, Tamilnadu State president delivered speech at the program. Mohammed Firoz, Indian Social Forum  President, Jubail read the preamble of constitution. 

 Nameer Kerala , Secretary, Social Forum Central Committee welcomed guests while Ashraf Karnataka, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered vote of thanks and Tahir Hyderabad, Secretary, Indian Social Forum, Central Committee coordinated the program.
