NGC team lifts NGC Trophy-2013

Al-Jubail, Mar 19: Nabel Al Ghanem Contracting (NGC) sponsored 10-over cricket knock out tournament ‘NGC Trophy-2012’ was held recently at JCA Ground, Al-Jubail.

The nail-biting tournament saw NGC team beat Amaco team at the finals to lift the NGC Trophy. NGC team had to chase 97 runs registered by their opponent Amaco, which they did with right strategy.

A colorful finale trophy presentation ceremony was witnessed by hundreds of cricket fans who enjoyed the match by cheering and bursting crackers all around the ground. Imthiyaz Krishnapura (NGC Partner) Abdul Razak (Managing Director of MAK CONTRCATING Co. AL-JUBAIL) and Imthiyaz Katipalla participated as chief guests.

Abdul Razak presented gifts to the winners and runner up. He also handed over the 'man of the match’ and ‘Man of the Series’ award to Anis of NGC, who played a wonderful game in the grand finale event.

Imtiyaz Krishnapura(NGC) distributed  trophies to the best performers of both the teams. B S Ahmed (Ex-committee member Badria Jumma Masjid Krishnapura), presented the magnificent trophy to the captain of NGC, Anis. All players of the winning team were also awarded with mobile phones by Imthiyaz Katipalla.

NGC Management also organized a colorful event called “NGC Night”, a dinner party for the winning team members. at Hotel Cooxon, Al-Jubail.

Prizes

The winning team members received Samsung galaxy pocket mobile while runner up team members received Nokia - X101.

Man of the series/ Man of the Match Anis received a laptop and a Nokia 110. Best bowler Rameez of Amaco team received Samsung Galaxy Mini, while Best batsman Aris Bajal from NGC team received a Samsung Galaxy ACE.

Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee, Saudi Arabia organized Republic Day program at AlRyan Policlinic Restaurant Auditorium, Dammam on 25th January 2020.

Abdul Waris, Former Chairman of Indian International School Dammam Inaugurated the program.

Wasim Rabbani, president of Indian Social Forum, Eastern Province Central Committee Presided over the program.

Mansoor Shah KFUPM, Indian Social Forum Delhi Zone President, Dr. Fayaz Ahmed from King Fahad University Hospital, Amir Moulavi, Executive Member,  India Fraternity Forum (IFF) Dammam, Nasir Koduvalli, Indian Social Forum, Kerala State President, Dammam, Sharief, Social Forum Karnataka State President, DammamJahangir Moulavi, Tamilnadu State president delivered speech at the program. Mohammed Firoz, Indian Social Forum  President, Jubail read the preamble of constitution. 

 Nameer Kerala , Secretary, Social Forum Central Committee welcomed guests while Ashraf Karnataka, General Secretary, Central Committee delivered vote of thanks and Tahir Hyderabad, Secretary, Indian Social Forum, Central Committee coordinated the program.

Kuwait: Eid is usually a time of family get-togethers and feasts after weeks of dawn-to-dusk fasting. But this year people celebrated at home, with virus fears dampening the holiday spirit and strict restrictions in place.

Kuwait went under full curfew before the start of Ramadan leaving people to practice fasting and Ramadan rituals at home, Even Eid al-Fitr came under full lock-down period.

As situation demanded, IMA Kuwait celebrated the Eid Get-together online via video conferencing tool, All IMA members participated joyfully in Eid Milan online gathering which was scheduled immediately after Eid prayer. Members participated and congratulated each other on the eve of Eid.

The IMA president Shamvel Parviz addressed the gathering and thanked them for joining online for this unique Eid celebration which will be remembered in history. He also advised members to be aware of conditions of neighbors, friends and family and assist them if they need help in this difficult time.

Eid al-Fitr follows weeks of fasting and marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Thousands of Muslims all over Kuwait followed strict guideline and performed Eid prayer at home along with their family.

As a part of social service activities IMA also distributed ration kits before start of Ramadan and during Ramadan for needy people all over Kuwait.

Dubai: A blood donation drive was conducted by Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) at in Al Wasl Club Stadium here on Friday, 26th June 2020.

The drive started around 1:00 pm and continued till 4:00 pm as per schedule provided by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Blood Donation Centre and 60 people donated blood to support the Blood Bank. The drive was well organised by maintaining social distance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As blood cannot be produced but only can be donated, this drive will help many patients in need of blood during emergencies. Donors were also feeling proud and happy at this moment thinking of saving someone’s life.

DHA Blood Donation Centre staff carried out the screening and testing done in very well manner keeping social distancing during this pandemic. Volunteers of KSCC were also helping the staff to keep people in safe distance and to make this drive a success.

KSCC Manager Mr. Mohammad Shafi and other office bearers were present at the event venue. KSCC thanked the volunteers, Community Development of Authority (CDA), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Blood Donation Centre, Government of Dubai and Al Wasl Club Stadium for making the event successful.
