Bengaluru, Mar 15: Former Karnataka Minister and BJP leader Gulihatti Shekar got a big relief when the Special Court for Peoples Representatives withdrew Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) issued against him in connection with Rs 1.25 Crore cheque bounce case filed by Janata Cooperative Society, Mahalakshmi Layout.
The Court had issued NBW as he failed to appear with out giving any reason and today when he appeared and pleaded for withdrawing NBW, the Judge Ramachandra D Huddar initially ordered Police to take him to custody. However, later the NBW was withdrawn and Rs 100 fine was slapped for his continuous failure to appear.
