NTDE inter-division cricket tourney: Smokers Center champion

Sharjah: Smoker Center team won the 8th edition of NTDE inter division cricket tournament held at Skyline university ground Sharjah, recently.

The captain hard hitter Sayed Badi played crucial role in victory. Batting first Food Division scored 172/6 in 20 overs. In reply Smoker Center team scored 173/5 in 19.3overs. Leading from front captain Sayed Badi scored 57 (not out ) and took 1 wicket in his 4 overs giving only 14 runs.

In the chase openers Mr. Gayan and Harsha used the power play of the game very well and gave solid start. Thereafter Mr. Shafeek showed his experience in the batting with captain to chase this score in a nail baiting last over.

It was total 100% team effort this time from this team to win this 8th edition NTDE inter-division trophy. All the players have given their best in batting, bowling and fielding as well.

Dammam: Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka chapter distributed Food Kits for Indian expatriates labors who were in trouble due to Corona lockdown on April 6, 2020 at a labor camp here in Al Khobar.

The labors, most of them are from the staes of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh And Uttar Pradesh, were in trouble without food.

 Recieving the information leaders of Indian Social Forum immediately visited the camp to take survey.

Indian Social Forum with the help of donors distributed food kits. Indian Social Forum, Dammam, Karnataka Chapter president Mr.Mohammed Shareef Jokatte expressed gratitude for donors for their contribution.
