Belagavi, Jul 26: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Satish Jarkiholi today said that Jarkiholi family was not responsible for fall of the Congress-JDS Coalition government in Karnataka as alleged by some section of ruling party leaders.
"However, he was quick enough to state that "it was one of the factor that led to fall of Government," he added.
Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, Satish Jarkiholi said that BJP headed by B S Yeddyurappa, who will be sworn in as Chief Minister, has no required magic number to form the Government in the present political scenario.
Don't know on what basis he is taking oath. At present 222 (including one nominated) members apart from three disqualified MLA,s in the House, BJP require minimum 111 seats to prove majority and technically they have no strength to prove majority in the floor of the House.
