PM Modi has fulfilled all promises; Cong using Dalits against Hindus: Dharmaraj

Mangaluru’s leading architect Dharmaraj, who recently came out in the open about his close association with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its political arm – the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in a candid chat with coastaldigest.com, says that he involved himself to in a campaign to create awareness and unity among people and defeat the “divisive politics” of the Congress.

CD: You have openly admitted that you have been a part of ‘Support Modi’ silent campaign. Could you elaborate on this?

Dharmaraj: It simply means that we are not openly campaigning or going door-to-door, but simply going to create awareness in the form of silent campaign. We are all apolitical group about 300 in number. Soon we will reach about 10,000 in strength and it will consist of people from every community, background whoever is interested to develop the country.

CD: Do you officially identify yourself as a BJP worker?

Dharmaraj: I have been sympathizer of BJP because it works for the development (of the country). I tell everyone not to vote looking at the local candidate, instead look at who is leading the nation and vote for the party of PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

CD: Being a professional, you were politically silent all the while. Don’t you think your political rhetoric would harm your business?

Dharmaraj: I am still the CEO of Motisham group, one of the pioneers in real-estate in Mangaluru. They are apolitical and have no issues with my views. My profession and my views are poles apart. They don't have any connection. I believe it won’t it effect my business. People know me for the quality of work I deliver and the two cannot be intermixed.

CD: General elections are fast approaching. Are you ready for a political debut?

Dharmaraj: No. I am not a political aspirant. I don’t have even 0.1 percent interest in getting into politics. But as a collective group we will support the party which first gives priority to the Mangaluru city, then to the state and then to the nation.

CD: But, Prime Minister Narendera Modi is known for unfulfilled promises and U-turns!

Dharmaraj: Modiji has fulfilled all promises. The Opposition is only ranting that he has not deposited Rs 15 lakh in everyone’s account. Through measures like demonetization or closing shell companies, he has brought Rs 14 lakh crore back to the country. Give him time… We are confident that given another term in 2019, he will once again work in the best interest of the country. He is a PM with vision and we trust him.

CD: What are your reservations about the Congress party?

Dharmaraj: I have many friends in Congress party. I closely work with (the Congress-ruled) Mangaluru City Corporation. Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai is my friend… But it’s also a fact that despite having excellent IAS officer like Anjum Parvez, V Ponnuraj and Senthil Kumar their talents have been wasted. There has been no development in the city for the last five years. Instead, the party has been looting the state. During the elections, they say things like Muslims, Dalits, Christian and so on. Why are you playing minority-majority politics? Please talk about development. Ahead of polls Congress issues government order to withdraw cases against Muslims. They withdraw free meal facility from poor schools. It’s not the correct use of authority. I am against this. Besides, they have put a 'Pappu' for the president of the party… I don't mind being quoted on this.

CD: Are you against the reservation for Dalits and backward classes in India?

Dharmaraj: I am not against the reservation policy, as misquoted by some media. But it’s a fact that Congress has been playing vote bank politics by separating Dalits from the Hindus. Once separated, Congress will consolidate Muslim and Christian votes and walk to victory. Despite so much allocation of funds for the scheduled castes and tribes, they have barely received any fair share. The money is being looted by the Congress party. Otherwise even after over 71 years of independence why does their condition remain the same? Only few selective people who are already in the creamy layer of the society, continue to derive benefits, whereas scores of people from SC/ST communities continue to be marginalized. Why aren’t they being enshrined the benefits which is their constitutional right? Any party must indulge in inclusive politics instead of creating social divide. They use people like Jignesh Mevani against Hindus. That’s not right.

This man is a blind supporter of BJP sake of some personal / business agenda. I want to tell you Mr dharmaraj that the reserve bank had already stated the 99% of the money had been return after the demonetization of 500 & 100 notes. During the election camping of Mr Modi to Karnataka, he has used maximum of  his speech to personal allegations to congress leaders rather than highlighting his  govt's development track records. As far as you are having a business and personal ally with minorities from M'lore, I would like to ask you a very simple question that "how do you support Modi as he had a clear involvement into 2002 Gujrat riot which killed 3000 Muslims and tortured a thousands of women?"

Wise action is to beat the SNAKE until koma to save the visitors/ Guests of beautiful building.

Nice interview given by the jewel of Mangalore despite frustrated attempts by the interviewer to create controversy. Selfless nationalists like Dharmaraj, who always think about nation first, don’t care uncultured muzzis. We are with you sir. You carry out ur noble work. Not 10k. Soon our strength should be 10 crore. All govt officers, professionals and police officers in India should soon be campaigners for the nationalist party. Govt should make chanting bharat Maataki Jai and singing Vande Maataram mandatory to get any jobs. Soon we will see Rama Rajaya. Yes Achche din are not far away. Let the anti-nationals (i need not to mention their religion) burn their bums after reading my comment.

Dear Jignesh Mevani, please reply to this fellow. He is taking your name and accusing Congress of using you against Hindus. You are the suitable person to respond to people like this.

I think if SDPI comes to power at the Centre or state such people will be silent campaigners for SDPI and start claiming that India should be the global superpower once again just like it was during the period of Aurngzeb.

When Ponnuraj was DC of dakshina Kannada, This fellow using to brain wash him daily and they together changed the old decided plan of bus root (for widening the road) from ganapathischool road to ladygoshen hospital road(market road). And he also got the Road widening contract on that time. Because existing ganapathi School Bus root contains too many Temples and RSS workers shops and Houses. Lady Goshen road have muslims Shops. But because of resistance from all shop keepers, he failed in that plan.

Ok Dharmaraj sir, we will agree your bullshit claim that Modi brought back 14 lakh crore black money to the country. But after bringing back that much money why did the country’s economy collapsed ? Why the prices of essential commodities raised 300%? Why poverty increased in the country? All money went into the pockets of business magnets like Ambanis and Adanis and leaders and activists of BJP and RSS? And then you are saying Congress looted the country.

Bengaluru, May 5: Life is limping back to a new normalcy in most parts of Karnataka with easing of Covid-19 induced restrictions yesterday as the State headed into the third phase of lockdown started since March 24.

According to the guidelines issued by the Centre, industrial activities, construction works, essential, non-essential shops, delivery of essential goods through e- commerce, courier and postal services, banking and agriculture activities, plying of four-wheelers and two-wheelers and inter-state movement of goods vehicles is permitted in all the zones, whereas buses are allowed to ply only in green and orange zone districts.

This apart, sale of liquor was also allowed at the designated shops. Police said vehicular movement is allowed only from 7am to 7pm for ordinary citizens.

Clarifying about the movement of people, Bengaluru police commissioner Bhaskar Rao tweeted, "From Monday you don't need a pass to move in Bengaluru between 7am and 7pm. After 7 pm and up to 7am the following morning, even if you have a pass you are not allowed to move except medical and essential service. Checkpoints will remain and your ID may be asked. Please be responsible." After the restrictions were lifted, heavy vehicular movement was witnessed in parts of Bengaluru leading to traffic jam in some areas.

Chikpet, which is the main trade area in Bengaluru, saw some activities.

With restrictions on public transport continuing, this unusually crowded place had very less footfall. "Movement of public is limited due to ban on public transport, such as city buses and Metro Rail.

"The trade activities are taking place between retailers," trade activist and joint secretary of Jain International Trade Organisation Sajjanraj Mehta said .

Select liquor shops in the city and other parts of the state pulled up shutters after being closed for about six weeks due to the lockdown with tipplers thronging them in huge numbers at many places.

Some traders in the city complained that they received notices regarding the Tax Deduction at Source for the month of April "thought here were no trading activities."

Meanwhile, Chief minister B S Yediyurappa announced on Monday that free bus service for migrant labourers, which is operating smoothly, has been extended till Thursday.

New Delhi, Mar 30: A Muslim woman from Jammu and Kashmir has donated her savings of Rs 5 lakh, meant for the Hajj pilgrimage, to the RSS-affiliated 'Sewa Bharati' after apparently being "impressed with the welfare work" done by the outfit amid the lockdown due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Khalida Begum, 87, who saved Rs 5 lakh for Hajj, was forced to defer her plans for the pilgrimage due to the lockdown.

Hajj is the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, the holiest city of Muslims.

"Khalida Begum ji was impressed with the welfare work done by the Sewa Bharati in Jammu and Kashmir during the tough time the country is passing through due to sudden outbreak of COVID-19 and decided to donate Rs 5 lakh to the organisation," Arun Anand, head of RSS media wing Indraprastha Vishwa Samvad Kendra (IVSK), said.

The woman wants that this money should be used by the community service organisation Sewa Bharati for the poor and the needy in Jammu and Kashmir. She had saved this amount for performing Hajj, plans for which she deferred due to the present situation, Anand said.

"Khalida Begum ji was among the first few women in Jammu and Kashmir who got educated in a convent. She is the daughter-in-law of Colonel Peer Mohd Khan, who was president of the Jana Sangh," he said.

Jana Sangh was also an associate of RSS and later became the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Anand said despite her age, she had been very active in welfare works for the women and the downtrodden in Jammu and Kashmir. Her son, Farooq Khan, a retired IPS officer, is presently serving as an adviser to the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor.

Meanwhile, since the lockdown was announced, Sewa Bharati volunteers across the country have been providing food and other essential items to the needy. The Sangh-affiliate's volunteers were seen on Saturday managing crowd and providing food to them at the Anand Vihar bus terminal in Delhi.

Wayanad/Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 24: Amid the strict lockdown, a school teacher travelled from Thiruvananthapuram to Muthanga in Wayanad -- a distance of about 465 km -- on her way to neighbouring Karnataka en route to Delhi following which cases have been registered against her and an excise official.

The woman, Kamna Sharma, said to be working in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, undertook the journey on April 21 along with her two year-old daughter, police sources told news agency PTI.

An Excise Circle Inspector, Shahjahan, had provided his vehicle to travel allegedly on the instructions of Malappuram excise officer, in whose private vehicle, the woman and the child had reached Wayanad border from Thiruvananthapuram, the sources said.

The two were charged under the Kerala Epidemic Act and various sections of the IPC including sect 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection) and 271 (disobedience to quarantine rule).

Because of the lockdown even inter-district travel is not allowed by police and district administration, unless there is an extremely genuine reason.

A senior police official in Thiruvananthapuram said he does not remember issuing any such pass.

The woman may have "misused" government machinery as private vehicles would have been stopped somewhere during the long journey, he said.

She came to Kalpetta in Wayanad allegedly in an official car of the excise department.

Wayanad District police chief R Elango said that an FIR has been filed based on preliminary information and investigations have begun.

"We will check if she has followed procedures in obtaining a pass and if she made any false claim to get the pass."

As per preliminary information the woman came in an excise official's car from Thamarassery (Kozhikode) to Muthunga(Wayanad), he said. Her mode of transport before that--from Thiruvananthapuram to Wayanad--will also be investigated, he said, adding they have no information if she has reached Delhi.

"We will track down her movement," he said Meanwhile, theWayanad district administration has intensified the lockdown protocol from Thursday to prevent people's movement within and from outside the district/state.

Interception at all the check posts on district an state borders of the district, bordering Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, will also be intensified. No one would be allowed to travel frequently to and fro the district under the pretext of official duty.

Wayanad collector Adhila Abdulla said officials from outside the district will no longer be allowed to commute daily.

"Elderly people above the age of 65 should confine to their homes unless it is extremely urgent or unavoidable. Cases will be registered against family members who allow elderly people to go out for buying medicines and other essentials," she said.

Senior citizens, who live alone, can call either the Fire (101) or Police (100) departments for any help and to get things they need, the collector said.

Whatever relaxations were in place have also been withdrawn with effect from Thursday, she added.

Wayanad and Thiruvananthapuram come under the "Orange B" zone where there are some relaxations.

However, Thiruvananthapuram city limits falls under the hotspot area.

Police said a case was also registered against a doctor and her husband who entered Kerala from Tamil Nadu border.
